The Tester's Lobby is where new applicants and seasoned veterans come in order to test their deckskills against the academy's dueling robots, either to practice their skills, or to increase their ranks. Duelists can often be found at the waiting table battling each other, waiting for their turn. In order for your character to be present, simply type out a post of them entering the lobby, with as much rp flair as you please. Newly approved characters simply post an introductory post for themselves after having just entered the academy and been sent by the nice receptionist lady to the tester's lobby.

General Rules:

1: Stay in character. This thread is for in-character interactions between one player's character and another. If you wish to make an OOC statement, use ((these parenthesis. Anything said in here will be understood to be you and not Bunnychar.))

2: Don't roleplay other player's actions for them. It's okay to play a monster and attack someone. It's not okay to play a monster and attack someone, wiping out their lifepoints as they watch helplessly. Also, when describing yourself or talking, don't use lines like 'your character feels fearful of my red bloody eyes' or 'you can't help but feel attracted to me' as the character you're referring to might think red is cool or that you're ugly as sin.

3: Play nice. This is a silly forum rp on a silly yugioh forum. Just try to have fun!

4: Arbitration. Obviously once characters start interacting with each other, duels will break out, or other fights may happen. After some discussion with Sabbaticus, we will resolve these conficts in a neutral way that doesn't involve having to actually play out duels. There will be a 'Chaos dice' rolling option, similar to the Destiny Board. Each player simply rolls before the conflict is resolved, and then roleplays out the situation according to the result. If the players tie, then the duel or fight will end in a tie as well.

5: No Permenant Player Deaths. You cannot kill another player or cause someone to be unable to play their character. This is english Yugioh, everyone knows the deaths get censored. You can make wagers against other duelists, even play Shadow games, but no one will be Killed Off Forever.

6:One duel at a time. This is more for my sanity of trying to keep track of which attack is for which duel. One duel going on at a time per thread!


Remember that duels will be following Anime Rules (tm). If you run a stupid situational combo card, you will draw it exactly when you need it. You will always topdeck the card you want. Diamond Dude will always hit a spell. Witch of the Black Rose will always draw a monster. You will always get Hero Kid with Reinforce Truth, summoning 3 Hero Kids from your deck to sacrifice for Destiny Hero Plasma/Moisture Creature/whatever. And you will never draw a hand of 3 Hero Kids instead, unless you really feel like rping losing.

In Play:

Hako was sent by the nice receptionist lady to the tester room. He feel a bit uneasy because of the test. He dont know what kind of test he will face and he hope that he will pass it. So he slowy open the Door to the test Lobby and Enter it. Then he closed it slowy and look around. Actually he was the first one wiich makes he think that he hit the wrong room. But the descripton of the reception Lady was perfect and there werent any other rooms. After he cooled down a bit he goes to a Chair and sit down. Now the only thing that he could do is waiting. He hoped that he will not be the only one to be tested.

Calx thanks the receptionist and heads to the dorm testing room. With a forceful push, he opens the door and steps into the room. While looking around, he notices someone already sitting in the room. Calx approaches the young man and greets him and introduces himself: "Pleased to meet you, I am Calx Crownguard from Demacia." He then sits down on the chair on the far right.

A few moments earlier, Ralfe finally arrived at the underground city of Dimensional Anchor. Feeling weary from the endless trips he took to get here he decided to take a seat on an empty bench and rest for a while. Ralfe looking up the high celing started pondering. This is it, it was sudden but I'm free now aren't I? Just a few days ago his strict father suddenly took him away from their home to look for Ralfe's mother and now here he was, up in the mountains below the ground. Alright. Ralfe finally stood up and started walking.

The city was huge he thought, after consulting the piece of paper he had for directions he finally arrived at the academy. He was shocked, it was huge and somewhat gave an intimidating aura. He looked around for a bit and then went forward slowly towards the entrance. He went inside and was greeted by a lady with a sweet smile from across the room. After a few steps, Ralfe finally discussed to the receptionist what he came here for, obviously he can't say that he was looking for a middle-aged woman, so he said that he was interested in joining the academy. The receptionist told Ralfe that he was going to be tested, so she gave him directions on how to find the testing lobby. Tests? I hate tests. Ralfe thought. He arrived in front of a large door and opened it.

The room was huge, he looked around and noticed that there were two people already inside. Thoughts began flowing to his head. Great, I'm not used to dealing with people, do I act like nobility or... He was sporting that rebel-like look or at least he thinks he does and just decided to get on with it. He made his way towards the table where the two were and sat one seat apart from the guy with the orange hair. Ralfe looked at both of them and gave them a nod. He then put his feet on the table with his hands on the pockets of his jacket. Ralfe lowered his head down, he was still exhausted so he shut his eyes and took a nap.

Ryuji was directed to the testing room by the lovely receptionist. He followed her instructions to find himself upon the testing room. He stood there for 5 minutes thinking about what would happen once he opened the door. He decided it was best to cover his face and enter the room. He was surprised to see Calx already sat there and was curious about the two other people who were also seated. Ryuji sat in between the two people who's faces he did not recognise as he had decided it would be best to reveal his identity to Calx after he had taken the test.

A few moments after Ryugi sits down, the receptionist opens the door to the testing lobby with a smile. "Oh, and you'll need these!" She hands Hako, Calx, Ralfe and Ryugi a card with a number on it. Calx has 15, Ralfe 16, Hako 19 and Ryugi 23. "These are your test numbers. When your number is called, head into the dorm testing room."

Calx thanks the receptionist as she hands the card over. As the receptionist walks away, Calx notices someone new entered the room but doesn't pay much attention to it. "Anyone fancy a warm up match before I take my test?"

The sky turns darker and a cold storm opens . Suddenly the door opens . The wind storgly blows right trough it . A person enters .

Greg sprints as fast as he can to the front door of the building. He leaps and kicks the door open, before charging to the front desk, nearly crashing into the table before stopping.

Greg: "Apologies for my abruptness, but am I late?"

The receptionist chuckled, handed him a card numbered, "18" and directed him to the waiting room for testing. Once he made his way down the hall, he overhears someone in the room asking for a duel. As he opens the door he spots the applicant who requested it, a tall fellow with bright, pale hair and silver gauntlets. Greg then says with a light smile,

Greg: "Wonderful timing. I would like to take that offer."

The opening of the door shook Ralfe, it wasn't even five minutes or so since he closed his eyes and two more people were inside the room, one was a person whose face is hidden and the other one was the receptionist. The receptionist happily gave Ralfe and the other people some cards. Ralfe fixed his posture and looked at the card given to him. The receptionist already told us our numbers but nevertheless Ralfe stared blankly at his card with the number 16 on it. Looks like we're gonna be called by order. Ralfe thought.

The blonde man who was here before him suddenly asked a question. He was asking for a warm-up or a practice duel of sorts. Ralfe stared at the blonde man and gave a disagreeing head movement which was then followed by the words. "I'll pass." in a monotone voice. When suddenly a new guy appeared out of nowhere and took his challenge. Ralfe gave the newcomer a quick look and then turned away.

"Alright, good", says Calx, smiling, as he walks to a duel table. "You may start the duel." Calx shuffles his deck and grabs 5 cards.

Greg: Nobleman eh? Well correct you are. It's a good thing it can't banish face-up traps! I activate GagagaShield, targeting my Magician's Valkyria!

Calx introduce himself to Hako. "My Name is Hako" response Hako to Clax "Pleased to meet you too" Meanwhile some other people enter the test room. So Hako wasnt the only one who have to be tested. Later he did become a Number from the receptionist. Hako´s Number was 23. Hako could see that Clax was already ready for the duel. "Clax you should wait until your number is called" told him Hako. There was also that mysteries one who just wont show his face. For now Hako dont mind it but later if they both passed he would mind that he keep hif face secret. There was also that other guy who just came in and accpete the offer. Hako doesnt know what he mean but though better ro refuse him. "Actually our test could beginn any moment so we should duel later" Hako hoped that the test will start soon and that all people here will pass the test.

Walks in silently and watches the duel. As the receptionist asked him to take off his mask he shakes his head and just points towards his name on the paper she was holding: Veritas.

"Nice move, but I'm not done! I summon Gem-Armadillo in attack mode. With his effect, I will add Gem-Knight Crystal to my hand. Now I activate Gem-Knight Fusion to fuse Gem-Knight Crystal and Gem-Knight Tourmaline to summon Gem-Knight Prisma Aura!" Calx smirks and continues his turn: "I use Prisma Aura's effect to discard Gem-Knight Sanyx and destroy your Gagagashield. I then attack your Magician's Valkyria! Followed by a direct attack by Gem-Armadillo!"

As Dusk walks up to the reception, he can hear people dueling. It sounds more like it just started. He put this thought out of his head as he talked to the receptionist lady.She hands him a card with the number 24. He heads to the room the receptionist described. As he gets closer to the dorm testing room, he can hear the duel clearer than ever. By knowing this, he easily found the testing room. As he enters the door, he saw multiple people sitting and two others dueling. Dusk decides that it would be best to not to talk to the others for now. He decides to sit on the far left, clear away from anyone else. He almost forgot about the card he recieved from the receptionist. He wondered who his matchup would be for the test, and then put the thought out of his head like he does for anything else. He realised that he's been traveling forever to reach this place, and common sense told him to just take a nap while he waits for his test.

Greg discards the card he drew, "Pitch Black power Stone"

Greg: I would've loved to kept that. Anyways, lets see. I summon Magical Exemplar! Then I activate my field spell, Magical Citadel of Endymion! I also activate Spell Power Grasp targeting my Exemplar! Now I may search another Spell Power Grasp from my deck. Exemplar gains two counters for each spell, giving it 5 total and citadel gains 1. I remove 3 counters to special summon Geomancer of the Ice Barrier in defense position! I send both to the grave to synchro summon Arcanite Magician in attack position! I remove 1 counter from citadel with arcanite's effect to destroy Prismaura! Then I attack Armadillo!
