Premature Burial. Why is it banned? Let us compare Premature Burial with Monster Reborn

Now why is Monster Reborn limited while Premature Burial is banned? Is it because it is an equip spell card? Even though that, don't you think Konami went a little too far. I mean, yes there is monsters who are advantaged when there are equipped with an equip spell card like Power Tool Dragon, Maha Vailo and some of the Vylon monsters. Also, some cards make equip spell cards back to the hand or to the deck like Fairy of the Spring and Vylon Matter. But, even with these two reasons, is this truly enough to say that this card deserves more than Monster Reborn? If there is any other reasons I did not mention that could be a reasons of his ban, please warn me, but for now, I don't think Premature Burial deserves more to be banned than Monster Reborn

Recycling Premature Burial at such a low price is obviously unhealthy for the game.

Wow, but still, it would probably be at least semi-limited from now, or maybe limited

I forgot to mention that since it stays on the field it's possible to recycle it with the likes of Brionac, Mist Valley Falcon, Dewloren and more. That on top of Hidden Armory make its prospects of being unbanned severely low.

I start to understand why it is banned

It could be a an okay replacement for Monster Reborn if that gets banned, which is rightly should. The fact that it would need a replacement with 3 CoTH around is debatable. Otherwise it's gonna be waiting for a while. I'd like to think Konami aren't stupid enough to let us use Premature and Reborn in the same format.

REborn should deifnitely be banned. IDK if i'd agree to them bringing back premature burial though...although wiht 3 MST around, there are lots of outs to it...

How large is the line from getting from limited to banned? Probably not big.

With CotH at 3, Premature Burial will most likely not be unbanned ever.

For that same reason, Konami should ban Reborn too lol.

Premature Burial is, true, quite not look a big deal vs Monster Reborn, but many thing do that Premature Burial is way too powerful than Monster Reborn. But Monster Reborn is limited because it's a return situational. If you're pratically dead, and you get Monster Reborn, you're not dead, so you're alive. And with the much use of solemn series, paying life point will make you in bad shape, lol!

For Monster Reborn, been ban is a think, but this card save many life... except if you lost it with an Lightsworn deck ><

The reason Premature Burial is banned has another reason besides the REDMD/Hidden Armory deck that was popular. Premature Burial as written doesn't destroy the equipped monster when it's removed from the field in a way besides destruction. What this means is that things like Dewloren and Mist Valley Falcon turn it into a reusable Monster Reborn. That's the main reason it's never coming back.

I don't think it should come back with or over Reborn. it's too searchable and recycable and the cost desn't really affect you that much. The fact that it stays, and that it's an equip spell card gives it alot of support options and I even think there is an OTK involved with this card, though I'm not sure if it's still valid or whatever.
