Hello everyone, my handle is NinjaSwarm and I am an 9 year veteran of Yu-Gi-Oh. I started in the legend of blue eyes and metal raiders, playing at my local books a million every saturday. I ran a mostly trap deck, and almost always lost, but had a lot of fun regardless.
After playing for a while, I took a long hiatus. By the time I came back, the game had changed dramatically. No longer was getting out summoned skull a huge deal. Instead, it seemed like everyone was just summoning a whole bunch of monsters in one turn! (Hehe.) I didn't know how to synchro or xyz summon, but I learned...eventually.
Figuring out the new cards was a monumentally satisfying experience. The first archetype that really stuck to me was the Ninja archetype. Powerful xyzs, stall, devastating traps, swarming potential, and lockdown all in one deck! It drew me in rapidly, and I became addicted. I'm very excited about upcoming ninja releases, as red dragon ninja has provided even more control in an already potent deck.
I love playing decks that are underpowered/have no right winning, because when I do I feel a greater sense of accomplishment than if I just blindly follow the meta or net deck powerful decks.
I am a "net decker" in a sense that I copy decks that others use as a template for what I want to accomplish. It makes no sense to reinvent a deck that uses the plant engine when there are so many others that you can just strip down and retech to your liking.
Sorry for the wall of text everyone.
ITS TIME TO DUEL!
