I cant help but notice that there are no prizes for war wins despite all the effort that goes into managing and confirming them. Why not give everyone in the war group that wins 50-65 Dp each? (as in the people involved in the war, not the whole team)

Possibly 25 DP each to the losing war group?

This would also solve the issue that the only way for non tester without a gfx shop to get dp is through BA'ing.

This one is to my personal interest because i put a lot of time into making sure i am here for my team during the wars and i would like a reward for doing so.

Um…so we have to “pay” you to put in effort into a game? YGO is not a job. If you’re on a team, it’s assumed that it’s because you want to duel in a competitive environment and because you enjoy it. If you’re putting in “effort”, then that’s your choice. The whole premise for being on a team is so that one person isn’t doing all the work.

Now to clarify, I honestly don’t think there’s any problem with giving out DP for winning wars. I actually think it’s a good idea since it is like BA’ing in a way.

I just do not like reason of “I put in effort, so I should be rewarded” reasoning. If that were a real reason, then the whole staff should probably be getting DP for everything they do cuz it takes considerable effort and time to organize things on this forum.

If you think playing in a war is alot of effort, you should try overseeing all of them

The point is that we are winning something, seems like a waste not to.

And if you are against that "i worked for something so i deserve payment" idea then why do we even bother having BA duels or pay testers.. or even HAVE a DP system at all?

It's not like it costs you anything to pay dp out, it is unlimited... If there was a DP recession then you might have a point, but that isn't a case

I'm not trying to say im sweating bullets trying to keep up with a heavy workload, just seems like an obvious trade off between win and reward

Winner gets a prize ... its that simple . No need of making thing complicated lol .

Anyway this is just a suggestion that would motivate ppl more , and isnt that what u guys want ? more ppl warring ?

Maybe teams with a certain amount of war wins should get there own title bars or something? =o

Personally I feel it's a good idea. You get awarded for winning BA'S - warring is a much longer process and isn't as easy as one simple BA duel. Winning a war is more of an achievement than winning a BA in my opinion; so why get payed for a BA duel and not get payed for winning a war with your Team?

It will also motivate more people to join/create Teams, because they have an incentive for doing so.

But yeah, as aang said, we use BA duels to get dp and they are much faster and easier than the war duels are. And at the moment it seems we need all the motivation we can get to war. At the moment shadowbright is only held together by me, zacky and rhyme, and with just the 3 of us even when we do have time to war, we arent inspired to actually take our free time to do so. It would give us a reason to push towards fixing the team and getting back into the swing of things, im sure the same goes for other teams aswell

The idea is pretty good, it will help to get more ppl and more teams in here, if the team wins a war they will be payed, intresting, so if this really happens it will get this game grow so fast

If you get awarded for BA's then you might aswell get rewarded for Wars.

There is only one question I would ask:
Why does the losing team would win points?

I would assume its for the sake of encouraging everyone to war , so Win or lose u get Rewarded.
But this is a mere idea , prizes and stuff can be adjusted .
