Hey I have a suggestion of you could make a page and it has ranks of all the top 100 or something duelists in order this would make the site more challenging as people would battle out for rank and at like every 10 ranks give player a title like new comer, then begginer then advanced up to king of games ?

Another suggestion is the Dorm Tests should be done by 70% dueling skills and 30% knowledge test and after they are done work out the dorm, hope you guys see my suggestions thanks

this might be a nice idea, if you want to make the tests more then duels, you can give puzzels also.
but i think they should also make the tests that now better. i sometimes see "nothing bad to say about your build, beside this one card" = 16\20
how 4 points on 1 card or something that you just would not prefer to use as an individuality?
or "the deck is great, just missing this card in the extra" = 16\20

btw i think if someone uses a really original deck he should get more points, and i dont see that happen right now. ppl who use fairy 3g and so should get less points. if not, we can get rid of the word original, it dosent have any use.

The reasoning for that is that it's not a -4. What if you use some great, original tech card? That would get 20/20. "Standard" might be around 17-18 pts. The originality is needed to get the 20/20, but it shouldn't be wantonly handed out. If your tech ruins the consistency, then it should get less points since it hurt the deck. Originality is rewarded, but ONLY if it works. You could make it as pretty as you want, but if it doesn't work, it doesn't mean anything.

As for written tests, you'd need a test bank of questions, but after a while, everyone knows what the questions are, making the written portion an inaccurate measure of knowledge. Those tests only work since EVERYBODY takes it at the same time. That doesn't happen here. You know those secretive standardized tests that you take in school that they tell you to never discuss? I'm pretty sure 95% of the people start talking about it the minute they step out the room. The other 5% are the ones with no one to talk to.

The closest thing we have to a ranking sheet is the Individual Ratings I compile for war duels. Wars are the most competitive form of dueling we have, so those rankings are probably better than BAs. It's here: https://chaosera.forumotion.net/t1102-elo-ratings

Main reason we don't apply that idea as in the 'highscores' is mainly because there is no plugin for forumotion to auto-update itself with the list. We would have to do this manually and we would have to date back months of BA records and do this on a spread sheet and i don't think anyone is willing to put in that amount of meticulous effort for something thats going to be inaccurate within 25 minutes.

As for the testing rubric, we're currently working on updating it with a couple new aspects that may include a knowledge portion! but thats up to the testing team!!

You'll just have to wait and see

I would have worked on ranks it get's this site even more competitive
