Im leaving this place for good. I will never get very far here because you must use a program that makes your decks so inconsistent that you might as well use a starter deck...and dont tell me im wrong because my wind-ups win alot of tourny's. I have never had such horrible hands in my life...and it gets the rulings wrong....doesnt matter...knowone will miss me... and its obvious this shuld be called mermail academy since everyone but me runs them....well i just wanted to say goodbye...and i hope whoever wants to join doesnt....because the program sucks alot....goodbye

Sounds like someone doesn't know how to play wind-ups when they dont' open Magician + Shark.

Oddly enough, there are more Wind-Up users here than Mermails, and yet we all top events, wars, and BA's with Wind-Ups just fine, and that's on Percy and TDOANE Launcher. Even more oddly, Wind-Ups wreck Mermails, so I wonder how your deck looks. Siding Soul Drains? Maining Abyss Dweller? Spam Xyz with a Shock Master? Siding Dimensional Fissure?

Then like Nichi said, there's more to playing the deck than Magician + Shark. Honestly though... 1 day and you leave because of bad hands? I hope you yourself realize how ridiculous that sounds. Alas, it's your choice, and whatever you decide... take care.

Okay I think someone should lock this up or something. It received way too many negative comments and in the end, it's just his opinion. Nothing we can do about it and most of all, there's no need for all the heat the guy is receiving, as we should just accept it and move on.

This isn't fluff land. We don't lock things because people give their opinions. He gave his opinion, we're giving ours. Frankly, the mindset of the online community as a whole is pretty crappy, and when threads like this pop up, I'm not going to pretend they're anything less than pathetic.

The online community needs to start understanding there's alot more to this game than they realize...and that it's alot tougher to be good at it than they are giving it credit for.

no i main 3 d fissures and i built a solid deck but the program gives me all spells and traps and magicians all day.....i know how to run them and no im not emo and i would appreciate if you guys can stop saying bad comments towards me...it only shows how much little support people have for eachother...which another reason why im leaving....just look at yourselves...this is what i expected from this place...secondly it is the program fault because in rl my wind-ups are the most consistent out there...after the true face of these people im definitely not going to second thought leaving v.v..and i know way more than the shark magician combo thank you very much..

Whatever it is, people here resorted to name calling. On the contrary, the original poster never insulted anyone, not even the forums. I do not find it fair that he is being bashed and burnt because of his, mistaken in my eyes, opinion.

Deck please? In all seriousness, if you're not getting the draws you want, change your deck. Don't blame it on the shuffler. There might be underlying causes as to why your deck is giving bad hands. It could be either bad deck construction or just bad luck. People have bad luck all the time so there's no reason to quit after just a couple days. People give up too easily...

BTW - some RL tourneys suck... they're a pretty bad indicator of skill unless they're giant tournaments (regional level).

I don't know why you keep associating the program with our website, and you don't know our community. Everyone supports another when support is needed. You're just ranting on the wrong website about the wrong things. I'm sorry that myself, Sabbaticus, nor any other member on this entire forum can assist you in making sure you open with the cards you want. I'm sure if you would like support in helping construct a more consistent deck than i'm sure we would love to help!

I'm not sure where to start but saying people shouldn't join our forum because of those two reasons is just plain stupid. 1) People use Wind-Ups more than Mermails and if your wind-ups aren't working then it's probably your problem not ours. 2) Sorry we can't help you start Magician/Shark every game but that's why you learn to play the deck not that one wind-up combo. 3) Grow up! If you can't accept criticism, then you aren't ready.

No one is name calling. They're simply calling him out for giving up too easily because of a "problem" that he is blaming on the program. He's literally throwing in the towel because he's gotten bad draws with one deck.

You can't expect to NOT be called out on that. Like I said this isn't a place where we play pretend. If you're making a stupid decision, we're gonna let you know. If he can't handle it, then this isn't the place for him.
