This is a deck I have in real life, but I need suggestions to improve it.

First you're missing 3 Gearframe and Fortress. Obvious reasons.

I personally wouldn't use peacekeeper, I find it too slow for the deck.

Also not sure about the random Koa'ki in there.

I find a second Recycler too much. One is enough for me, if at all. Try adding in perhaps Cyber Dragon. Special Summon and big attack, plus if boosted with Solidarity, it can be even bigger.

Spells, Armored Unit is really not needed. You could swap it for Smashing Ground/Soul Takers (prefered)

Pot of Duality... Must have.

United we stand and swords are just optional cards, I wouldn't choose to run and fill my deck with. Instead, I would add MST (definitely needed) and a third solidarity. Also, you might need to run more Geartown if you want it to work.

Dark Hole is also missing... Must be included.


As for traps, gadgets usually have a heavy backrow. You should scrap your current traps and use advanced ones, instead of Trap Hole add Bottomless Trap Hole, use Prisons, use Solemn Warning and Judgment, use Starlight Road, use perhaps Compulsory Evacuation Device, use Torrential Tribute and maybe even Mirror Force. All those traps I mentioned are much more effective against current meta decks than the ones you have now. Nothing else to explain.

Side deck, try siding Gozen Match and Rivalry. In themed decks such as this, I always side those as they can be very effective against certain types of decks (Wind Ups, Compressor Dragons etc) I also don't find your side deck appropriate enough to face current meta decks. You should also consider siding Shadow Imprisoning Mirror, Soul Drains, Prohibition, Imperial Iron Wall is a must too, mainly against System Down, Chain Disappearance. I won't suggest monster cards, as they will ruin Solidarity effect.


And of course you need the staple extra deck, many Rank 4 XYZ for the most part.



Of course all that if you wanna keep it Machina/Gadget themed. The more advanced and meta version of this deck is Geargia decks which also run Machina, but I am not sure if you're interested in that.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am trying to mirror this deck similar to the one I have in real life. I guess I am going hunting for another Machina Mayhem structure deck. Razz

By the way, if I added some of the traps as you suggested some of them won't work. For example Imperial Iron Wall with Dimensional Prison and Bottomless Trap Hole.

I see you don't have much on the Extra Deck IRL, but since you have a unlimited number of cards on YGOPro so why not ;P

Oh btw, Tin Goldfish is a nice card you can use to XYZ, since it is a machine and his effect is nasty with gadgets/gearframe, free 2300 monster if you do that, you don't lose any card on hand due to Gear Giant effect.

Double Summon is very nice too with those gadgets, and Tinfish + Double Summon, summoning a Shock Master or Ouroboros is a joke.

Yeah, part of the extra deck can hurt Solidarity, but I really think having a huge arsenal of options is better than increasing your attack by 800, well, up to you anyway.

3x Gear Gigant X (Don't hurt your hand at all, you can grab this Machina Gearframe with him too, or just another goldfish to keep summoning more and more Gear Gigants.)

(More one of these things like "And if maybe")1x Zenmaines (Is a machine and... well, can't imagine it heappening too often too, 2 Recyclers on field and you can make it, maybe your backrow can help you.)

Baah, there are so many nice Rank 4's, if anyway you feel like Solidarity is really necessary, you should still place 15 and run, just in case your first plan doens't work, you have a backup.

About the traps, yes, you really need to replace they, Amazon already cited the best traps tough, like... Dimensional Prison > Sakuretsu Armor, Bottomless Trap Hole > Trap Hole etc etc.

About the side, Rivalry of Warlords and Gozen Match can work pretty well with your deck, a tragg/veiler/maxx "c" would be nice on the side anyway, if you find that Solidarity is not being so usefull agains't a certain opponent, you can just replace it on the side decking, also with Gozen Match you can still use from your extra deck: Pearl, Kachi Kochi, Gear Gigant X, Terrorfang Direwolf, Gagaga Gunman and wte else you put that is earth Attr, but if you really wanna bind your opp from every side with Gozen + Rivalry, you will still be able to use the gear gigants, and with those on the deck, 2 Solidarity will works great.

Also, obvilously, if you have Imperial Iron Wall face-up you don't use Dimensional, but trust me... most people Main/Side 3 MST and Heavy Storm, they WILL destroy imperial Wall, so even if you run both, they will eventually works, but is not like if you have to run both at the same time anyway, but Dimensional Prison have a strong point here, it BANISH your opponent, it doesn't "Destroy" him, and this IS a important factor, due to the high number of cards that can't be destroyed/negate destruction/can easyly come back from graveyard.

Magical Hats is a good card if you decide to main 2x Geartown, because you know... you can hide they behind the hats and hope your opponent destroy they, it's not a MUST HAVE anyway, just a idea, but 3x MST is a must, this archtype hates backrow, mainly after siding, maybe even consider dust tornado, because the backrow is probally your worse enemy.

Previous poster answered your question about Imperial. Plus, when I side in Imperial, I usually only leave like 1 bottomless or 1 prison, so chances I get both are small to none. And he is right, they will probably MST your Iron Wall if you need to use it. But anyways whatever it is, Solidarity holds you back too from using other Rank 4 XYZ since it will ruin the effect if they are not machine. So I am not sure if you want to stick with it.
