First topic message reminder :

The dice has rolled and the groups have been determined by destiny!!!

I want to remind everybody that group stage is starting this monday march 25th! Everybody has time to send their 3 decks to NickV before monday, if somebody fails to send the decks, they will be punished with point deductions!

Here I remind some basic rules:

1. Insulting players, swearing and saying stuff like «you are lucky» etc. is strictly forbidden and will be punished by point deductions (you just need to provide a screenshot to prove the harassment took place).
If someone is found insulting players several times, this player will be removed from the tournament.

2. During the group stage, each player will be allowed to register up to 3 decks for the tournament and will send them to the judge, which is NickV! During the course of the entire tournament, each player can switch between the submitted decks whenever he wants...you have also the privilege to make changes in your deck up to 3 times (extra and side, but no changes in main deck), but always need to confirm with the judge after each change.

3. The points will be distributed in the following manner during the group stage:

Win 2:0 = 6 points
Win 2:1 = 4 points
Lose 1:2 = 2 points
Lose 0:2 = 0 points

4. The top 2 players in each group will advance to single eliminations, where points will not count anymore, and as a special privilege to the qualifiers, they can submit a 4th deck they could use and tell about this to the judge.

5. All the players during the group stage will face each other twice – home and away, and everybody will have 4 days to complete the 2 duels between each other. We will be very strict with the time limits unless something really serious happens. After a round is posted, players will have 4 days to complete their duels. Players should make all the efforts to complete their 2 matches within the given time period. If a player is inactive or did not make the effort to get the match played, that player will get an automatic 2-match loss. If both players didn't try their best to play the matches they will just get an X for both matches. If for some reason both players have been active, trying to find each other but couldn't duel each other because of X problem (time zone conflicts, never met up each other online etc) - both payers will get a double draw 0:0 0:0 and will have 1 point in total for each of that 2 matches.

6. The best way to contact your opponent is pm'ing here or through skype, don't wait in the chatbox till somebody gets online, set a day and time to play with your opponent the 2 matches. REMEMBER to save screens of your sent messages to the other player, in the case the oponent doesn't show up, this will be the evidence you have been active and looking for the duel!

7. The replays should be sent to NickV and the result (with no replays of course, otherwise the enemy will know what deck you are using) posted in this thread so I can smoothly update the groups every time without the need to ask NickV the result of this or that duel.

8. In case 2 players in the end of the group stage have the same amount of points (for example 20), the one that will be higher in ranking will be determined according to the better singles +/- difference (if player A has 20-17 in singles (+3) and player B 20-16 (+4), player B will be higher in ranking)

9. During single eliminations the player that wins 2 matches out of 3 advances to the next stage!

well the duel loss for me is invalidated as riou said. i hope you not mad at me for losing 1 of the replays. i'll try to find it and solve this probleme.

UPDATE FOR ROUND 2:

Group A:

1. Marina Wings didn't submit the 3 decks before round 1, so she got -2 points. She also is missing now, before round 2, same as her decks, so -2 points again, total score -4 points. Nice start

2. SleepingMomo get's 0:2 in her 2nd match vs. hadzy due to breaking rules

Group B:

1. MarioFurious get's 0:2 in his 2nd match vs. B.I.G. due to breaking rules

2. Reaper didn't submit the 3 decks before round 1, so he got -2 points. He also is missing now, before round 2, same as his decks, so -2 points again, total score -4 points. Nice start

Group C:

1. TimeRoad and SilentSolitude were both active and seeking for the 2nd match, but because of time issues couldn't complete it, so their 2nd match is a 0:0 draw and 1 point per head.

1. The Storm didn't submit the 3 decks before round 1, so he got -2 points. He also is missing now, before round 2, same as his decks, so -2 points again, total score -4 points. Nice start

Group D:

it's a shame Pyro and Light didn't try to play the 2nd match and even to PM each other for that, it was clear in the rules that you need to provide screens that you are looking for your opponent. An X for both of them in their 2nd match.

Group E:

1. salamance was active and seeking for CrazyDustbin, but Crazy never appeared neither replied salamance, salamance get's 2:0 2:0 vs. him.

2. it's a shame riou and Blue King didn't try to AT LEAST FIND EACH OTHER, NEITHER THEY PM'ED each other, both of them get X X in their 2 matches.

3. Taisakuno Shouri didn't submit the 3 decks before round 1, so he got -2 points. He also is missing now, before round 2, same as his decks, so -2 points again, total score -4 points. Nice start

Group F:

The best group till now with no comments or broken rules!

Group G:

mouzou vs. Scion, X X in both matches, I will not even say a word here, this is the major shame of the 1st round as I have you both in skype, you both are active and part of my team, but for some reasons never asked each other to duel.

Group H:

1. cage vs. Tears, both were trying to seek for the duels, but because of time zone issues and work they never could complete the duels, both get 0:0 0:0 and 2 points in total.

2. Yubel and SunMoonOR never completed the 2nd match and didn't even try to PM each other to do it. Both get X for their 2nd match.

I JUST WANT TO REMIND TO EVERYBODY THAT IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET AN X, AT LEAST TRY TO PM YOUR OPPONENT, IF HE DON'T REPLIES, YOU GET 2:0 2:0 VS. HIM!!! Shame on some players, really

Group A:

Marina Wings eliminated from World Cup due to inactivity and nobody knows where is she, yarintheslayer was very lucky this round as he never submitted the screens where he tries to set a date for dueling with Marina Wings, he could have got X X for this.

Group B:

1. Reaper eliminated for same reason as Marina Wings

2. Phenixblue gets 2:0 2:0 vs. B.I.G., as they were playing the 1st match and Phenix was winning 1:0, after B.I.G. d/c and they didn't duel again even though Phenix was much more active and trying to set a day to play with B.I.G. Sorry mate, your fault.

Group C:

The Storm eliminated for same reasons as Marina and Reaper.

Group D:

No special comments.

Group E:

1. Taisakuno Shouri eliminated for same reasons as the other 3.

2. CrazyDustbin and Blue King have till the end of round 3 to appear, otherwise they will also be eliminated and salamance and riou advance directly to 1/8 finals (like if somebody doubted this from the beginning...)

Group F:

No special comments.

Group G:

mouzou gets a loss in 2nd match vs. Zacky for breaking the rules and usig a card he didn't submit in his original deck to NickV >>

Group H:

Tears0fLife retired from World Cup

One last comment for everybody that got eliminated or is inactive... if you people inscribe for a tournament, have the balls to complete the duels, the other duelists also use their personal time to try to catch you for 2 miserable duels...
