Is it possible to add a sound effect every time a new message appears, when you are still in the chat, but the chat box is closed? It is really useful, because sometimes I miss a lot of messages just because I closed that thing.

Even if it's possible , everyone would hate it..

well yeah , but thing is everyone would turn it off... Imagine getting a "beeping" sound every single second while you listen some music / do something important...

If yout turned the sound off Dark, you wouldnt hear the beeping sound, Lolz. An option to have the sound on or off is what i think he means

i need to agree with dark , no one will turn it on , and getting the code and putting on will take time and it will be kinda of a waste if no one turn it on

I agree that it would be incredibly annoying. However, if you're interested in being notified of messages on the chatbox, I think there is a way to have your tab change it's title to warn you of a new message. I'd have to see how to do it with our current chatbox though.
