Why did they? I don't see any amazing op combos involving Giant Trunade (unless im missing something)...

It's banned because of all this:

Since it does not destroy there are very few counters to it which are worth main decking.

You can abuse cards by bouncing and re-using them.

It's more flexible than Heavy since you don't lose own cards.

It shifts momentum to the user; use Trunade, set all of your cards, next turn your opp has to deal with them.

It promotes OTKs.

Good analysis. Starlight Road is actually useful in a format in which Heavy Storm exists. Otherwise, it would be almost unplayable.

It's hard to stop, and doesn't make you lose your own cards. Also I absolutely loved having my oppoent fill his backow just so I could Trunade and Card Destruction all of them away. I was playing the old DarkWorlds at the time, so that worked wonderfully Laughing

ahh i see...I remember when I had nothing good, I used to use Swords of Revealing Light, wait till it was about to expire, Trunade and re-use it lol. Now that i think of it, Trunade with Future Fusion..... but there both banned now. Lmao,never thought to do that XD
