1st is the timing is 1 hr ahead in the chat box if u look in my corner of the screen it would be an hour earlier
the other thing is that the ads cover up the chatbox

That's not a problem as I think..
This is a flash advertise..
Flash advertisements are unbypassable by css/html scripts, cause it's background script are stronger than css or html (Internet programming languages).
You can bypass them by using
Ads bypass addons (for Firefox) / Extension (for chrome) or just scroll for a point without ads
