If I'm playing a Yugi structure deck and you draw nothing but level 5+ monsters, I'm likely to win within a few turns. Also, seeing as how the recent formats seem to be designed, the game has evolved to an extremely fast-paced and sacking-based game; winning within a few turns is fairly easy with most modern decks. I think it will benefit everyone to have a mutually agreed upon definition of "meta" so there are no misconceptions during gameplay as to what is allowed and what isn't. |

Right now, the non-meta clause is basically no Dragon Ruler, Spellbook, Evilswarm, Fire Fist, or Mermail decks. You CAN run some of the cards, like Blaster in a Fire King or Battlin' Boxer deck or Atlantean Pikeman in a Diva-based one, but your focus can't be on those decks, so like no Judgment Day. |
