Evilswarms - My Main Deck This Format & YCC Submission

This was my final Evilswarm build that I ran for the majority of the format and entered in this seasons YCC.

My YCC Record:

Swiss: 5-1

Notes: Only loss was to Rathial who ran War Gods. Congrats to him for going undefeated in Swiss.

Top 16: Lost 2-1 to Antei

Notes: Lol great match, especially game 3.

The deck was specifically geared towards the meta (Elemental Dragons & Prophecy), It's main purpose outside of turn 1 Ophion, was to ensure a live EEV target turn 1 and an easy Shock Master play early as possible, and the deck was very successful in all those areas. the deck did fairly decent in mirror matches, it just depended on the players hands tbh. This build sucks vs everything else or a majority of other decks that aren't Dragons or Prophecy so i prayed I didn't get a Fire Fist player in YCC XD (I got a War God player instead -_-).

The side deck again was focused on the meta and is pretty standard... I was a little paranoid about the Fire Fist match up so made room for Over Worked... but to be fair it wouldnt have helped much lol since my trap line up wasn't very defensive... It was geared towards dealing with Dracossack no matter if I went first or second in a duel and just EEV'ing books coz we all love to do that XD.

If I were to make any changes I would cut Forbidden Dress coz that card just sucks... Saved me from a Dark Hole that was it... useless vs Book of Moon, Tsukuyomi, Compulse, Exploder Dragon and Electric Virus.. The list goes on.... I would have ran a second Dark Illusion instead coz that card was just sick! Negates Tsukuyomi and kills it then and there... It is also a better answer to Blaster imo incase the attack decrease from dress gets Ophion killed... It can also be used to negate Effect Veiler when trying to search for Pandemic with Ophion or use the effect of Kerykeion.

I don't think I'll be running the deck next format as Rabbit has been limited and staple traps have been hit... and due to the format slowing down, I just don't think Evilswarms will be very effective due to 3 Axis Fire Fist, War Gods, Constellar, even Mermails (which can deal with Ophion pretty well) etc. I am also personally bored of the deck as I have played them for 2 formats now (also played Evilswarm in the 1st ever YCC and got Top 8 in Wind-Up format LOL).

This build will be impossible in the next format lol due to half of it being hit, and wont be effective anyways... I don't even think Evilswarms will be viable in the next format, which is probably why they didn't hit Ophion... I have a strong feeling we are heading towards and Dark World & Mermail format... but lets see how the meta turns out.
