A/N: Wow, this series is coming along at a rather steady pace, good times; thinking of how the next chapter goes, bad times lol. Anyways, hope you enjoy the fourth installment of the series, and love every moment of it. Trust me, this one will be pretty interesting to some.“You incompetent fool!” Darren shouted at Strider, who had failed to win the duel against that of Maria, and of course, the divine beast that she held. “Master Darren, it was not my fault, it was…” he started to say, until he was interrupted; “Silence!” Darren yelled at Strider once more, causing him to suddenly wince in place. Darren soon stood up from his black marbled throne, staring down at his minion; “Do you have any idea what problems this now cause, Strider!?” he demanded of his lowly servant, who looked up slightly; “I…I do not Master Darren” he simply replied. Darren stepped closer towards his useless servant; “Now that she has summoned Torcura, it will be that much harder to grab hold of it, meaning we must overpower her even more so” he explained to his idiot of an underling. Strider lowered his head closer to the floor; “Please Master Darren, allow me to make amends for my actions, I shall not fail you again” he stated while keeping his head lowered. Darren couldn’t help but chuckle slightly at the time, as he placed his had atop Strider’s head; “You are no longer useful to me Strider, be gone from my sight” he simply stated, causing Strider’s eyes to widen slightly. Before he could mutter another word, his body went cold and numb, before falling to the ground face first, causing a slight grin to appear upon Darren’s lips; “Such a useful power to possess, wouldn’t you agree?” he asked of his partner, who chuckled darkly in response.
“Try not to use my powers every time they fail Darren, otherwise you’ll have no followers left” the dark voice chuckled slightly; “It does not matter to me, only the strong shall have safe haven to your new world” Darren chuckled slightly, before moving back up to his throne. “Remember, the power you possess thanks to me brings death, there is no way to return them to the land of the living once you have done that” the dark voice explained to that of his fellow ally; “I realize that, but like I said, only the strong shall survive” he chuckled a little more. The dark voice too decided to chuckle, before asking yet another question to his ally; “So, what you do to deal with that little meddling girl, Darren?” it asked of him. At that time, two more males with cloaks over their heads entered the room, kneeling down onto one knee a few feet away from the throne in which Darren sat upon; “Master Darren, you called for us?” one spoke up there and then. Darren simply grinned at this; “Yes, I have an assignment for you both to take, my valuable minions” he chuckled softly, as the scenario started to fade out, before fading back in to where Maria was, inside of her own home as she sat at the desk in her bedroom, looking through her deck a little. “Let’s see…if I put this card in, it may help…” she muttered to herself, as she continued to look through her own card collection; “…But if I put this in, it’ll increase my chances of summoning quicker” she continued to mutter to herself.
Torcura’s humanoid form soon reappeared beside Maria, looking down at the cards that she had spread out a little; “Modifying your deck, Maria?” he asked of her softly, in which he got a nod in response; “Yep, I’m trying to use other cards so I can increase the chances of getting you out onto the field” she spoke softly. Torcura raised an eyebrow at this; “And why would you wish to do that?” he asked of her, as she continued to look through her cards; “It’s mostly because of what you said, knowing that they’ll stop at nothing to get a hold of you” she replied softly. “So you are changing your cards around, just you are able to hold out against them?” Torcura asked of Maria, in which she nodded again; “Yep, plus if I can summon you out a little quicker, it will be much easier to stop them from taking you” she responded softly. “Are you sure it is wise to rely on my strength alone, Maria?” Torcura questioned her, which made her stop looking through her cards for a moment; “What do you mean Torcura?” she asked of him with a slightly curious expression; “If it’s the only way to keep you safe, wouldn’t it be best to?” she added to her previous question. Torcura stepped a little closer to Maria in his humanoid form; “If you try to rely on me all the time, you’ll never grow as a duelist” he mentioned softly; “Before I was given to you by Maximillion Pegasus, I watched your skill in action, believing you to be one of the strongest duellists I’ve met” he further mentioned.
“So in other words Torcura, you aren’t sure if I should use you all the time?” she asked softly of him, in which he nodded as a response; “That is correct Maria, and I know for a fact if you don’t summon me, you’ll still be able to overcome any challenge” he smiled softly. Maria couldn’t help but smile at that comment; “Thanks Torcura, I really mean it” she spoke softly with that smile remaining on her face; “You are welcome Maria” he spoke, with a smile on his lips as well. Maria soon got her deck together, before placing it into her deck pouch, and then clipping it to her belt around her waist before grabbing her duel disk and placing it on her arm; “Okay Torcura, let’s get going, shall we?” she giggled softly with a lovely smile; “Yes, we shall” Torcura replied with a soft, calming tone. Maria soon went downstairs, heading over to the front door before exiting her home and shutting the door behind herself, before moving in a quick pace towards the park with that soft smile upon her lips. However, that was about to change, as two cloaked hooded men came into view, one walking from the right, and one walking from the left, stopping her from pressing any further forward; “Well well, seems our victim has finally come out of hiding” the one on the left spoke; “Yes, it seems so” the right spoke with a slight chuckle. Maria immediately noticed something was afoot, especially as what they wore was the same as Strider from her previous encounter.
Before Maria could usher a word, the cloaked man on the left side pulled out a small black sphere, throwing in between both them and Maria, allowing it to shatter into pieces and create a field of black and purple flames around them. Maria easily knew now that these two cloaked men were definitely like Strider was against her, trapping them inside of a black and purple flamed barrier until the duel had ended between them, leaving only the victor the card she held. “Well little Maria, it seems may already know of what this is, don’t you?” the cloaked man on the right side chuckled softly, while the left one decided to join and chuckle as well, much to Maria’s disgust; “You two are after Torcura, aren’t you?” she immediately shouted out across at the two villainous opponents. They continued to chuckle, as they removed the top of their cloaks, revealing their faces with ease; the one on the left had bright white hair a scar across his left cheek, along with silver eyes, while the one on the right had black hair with a scar across the top of his nose, with such cold silver eyes. “Allow us to introduce ourselves” the one on the right spoke; “I am Breaker, and he is my brother, Stone; and yes, we are after Torcura, especially as our lord and master told us to do so” he chuckled. Stone continued to chuckle as he stared towards Maria; “And unfortunately for you little girl, this is a two on one duel” he decided to explain with such an evil smirk.
“A two on one duel!? No wonder you were both inside of this little duel field you made!” Maria yelled across at them, as they continued to snicker a little; “Yes, and there is no way to escape until you beat the both of us little girl” Breaker snickered some more. Before Maria could speak up again, both Stone and Breaker activated the duel disks underneath their cloak, before raising their arms up, revealing their decks to be already inside; “Now get your duelling deck ready little girl, there is no way out of this” Stone chuckled a little, while Breaker continued to grin. Maria knew she had no other choice, despite the fact it was a two on one situation, there was no way to get out of the duelling field until she defeated both of them; so there was only one option she could choose; “Alright then, I’ll face both of you at the same time” she spoke with confidence in her eyes, as she too activated her duel disk. Once her duel disk was set for duelling mode, she pulled her deck out of her deck pouch on the side of her waist and slid it into her duel disk’s deck holder, readying herself for any kind of situation, especially with two creeps such as Stone and Breaker. As she got herself ready, someone watched slightly from afar, noticing her current predicament; “Hmm? Is that a duel?” they muttered to themselves before noticing Maria inside of the duelling field; “It’s her again? Which means that those two are like that other guy from the other day?” they muttered once more.
The person decided to get a little closer to the duelling field without all three of them noticing, keeping an eye out at the situation; “I wonder if she’ll be as confident with two of them facing her?” they murmured softly. As they continued to watch, the duel was about to get underway, with both Stone and Breaker snickering slightly, ready to bring Maria to her knees; while she prepared her deck ready for the duel, knowing she had to duel her best in this kind of situation. As all three duellists set their duel disks and shuffled their decks ready, the duel was ready to start; and only one word was exclaimed from all three of them; “DUEL!” they all called out, drawing their starting hands of five cards as the life point indicator’s appeared on their own duel disks.

Breaker started to chuckle softly; “I believe we’ll allow this girl to take the first move, shall we Stone?” he asked his comrade, with that slight creepy grin upon his lips. Stone nodded his head with that same grin as Breaker; “Yes we shall my brother” he chuckled slightly as well, leaving Maria to take the first move of the duel, and hopefully, a start that will be able to get advantage over both these opponents of hers. “Okay then, let’s get this over with” she muttered softly, placing her fingers onto her deck; “I draw” she exclaimed, drawing the next card of her deck and adding it to her hand immediately. Maria looked over her current hand, believing to have found a good card to give her a chance, especially since until they all had their first turn, none of them could attack; “Okay, I summon out my Archangel Wingbeat, in attack mode!” she called out, plucking the card from her hand and placing it onto her own duel disk. At that point, the three-dimensional hologram generator started to pick up its pace, starting to generate the monster card’s own form onto the field.
As the monster slowly began to take form, the first thing to notice was its six beautiful, pink feathery wings wrapping around its body. Slowly, the form of its clothing came together, generating as lovely snow-like white, one piece dress with a light pink sash around the waist. The boots soon generated on her feet, revealing them to be as white as the dress, slowly forming all the way under the feminine body’s knees. As it slowly guided its hand up into the air, a rather long, rose-like red sword appears into her hand, before she pulls it down and points it towards her opponent. Her stats were soon revealed to all three duellists, especially as both Breaker and Stone continued to express that creepy grin of theirs.

Maria then picked up another card from her hand, slipping it into the slot underneath her monster card; “Next I’ll set one card face down” she called out, as a generated hologram of the card emerged onto the field behind her current three-dimensional monster. She knew for a fact that these two cards would suffice for now; “With that, I end my turn” she mentioned, glad to have made such a useful play, especially as in her hand, she had a much stronger Archangel to take her Wingbeat’s place come next turn. However, both Breaker and Stone seemed unfazed by this move, as Stone prepared to draw a card from his deck; “If you think that little sissy of a card and your set card will be enough to protect you; you are sadly mistaken” he chuckled intentionally, drawing his next card to signal his turn had started; “Now you’ll see what us brothers can truly do together” he chuckled a lot louder than before, with such evil intent.
Chapter Four/A Two On One Duel!? The Angel’s Weep!
“Now it is my turn kid, and I think I’ll do this move” Stone exclaimed, plucking two cards from his hand and slipping them into the slots underneath the base of his duel disk; “First, I’ll set these two cards face down” he called out, as two set cards appeared onto his side of the field, thanks to the hologram generator. “And next, I’ll play this card” he exclaimed as he plucked a card from his hand; “A monster in face down defence” he mentioned, as he placed the card onto the base of his duel disk, causing it to appear a more horizontal position on his side of the field, much to Breaker’s delight; “And that shall suffice, now it’s your turn brother” he chuckled a little, as Breaker nodded his head. “Okay little girl, it’s my turn!” Breaker called out, drawing his card from the top of his deck with ease, before revealing it to his opponent; “First, I’ll summon out Koa’ki Meiru Guardian in attack position” he exclaimed, placing the card onto his duel disk, allowing the holographic system on his duel disk to power up some, creating a three-dimensional form of his mighty monster, before its stats were revealed to himself, his brother and of course, Maria.

“However, the fun doesn’t stop there little one…” Stone started to say, as he plucked a card from his hand and slid it into the slot underneath his monster; “…Because next, I play this card face down to keep you guessing for now” he chuckled softly, as the card he had placed into his duel disk emerged in a hologram form behind his stone like monster, as he continued to grin in such a creepy manner. “No matter what you may try to do child, we’ll always be one step ahead of each of your moves!” Breaker laughed out in such a maniacal manner, as Stone joined in on the laughs as well, leaving Maria to simply stare at the two. “Now then, it is your move Maria, but before that happens…” he paused before sending a card from his hand to the graveyard; “…I must send my Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru from my hand to the graveyard to allow my monster to remain out” he explained as he continued to grin. Maria knew that this would be no easy bout, but she had to do whatever she could to keep Torcura out of their grasp; “Okay, my turn!” she called out, drawing her next card from the top of her deck and adding it to her hand, as she looked through her cards to seek the best move possible.
Maria continued to look over her hand, deciding on a strategy she could easily play off of, as she thrust her hand forward from her body; “Okay, now I activate the effect of my Archangel Wingbeat!” she called out, as the wings on her monster started to glow and sparkle; “Due to her effect, I can release her to Special Summon an Archangel of any level from my hand directly to the field!” she explained, readying herself to pluck a card from her hand. However, Breaker simply grinned at this move; “I knew you’d rely on your feathered friend, but to no avail!” he shouted out, pointing at his own monster; “Because due to my Guardian’s ability, by releasing himself from the field, I can negate your monster’s effect and then destroy it!” he explained with that creepy grin of his. Maria was left with no words, as one of her best moves was now ridden from the field, as all she could do was watch her monster’s effect simply stop in front of her; “Go my Guardian, use your Blasting Rock ability!” Breaker called out, as his monster went across to Maria’s field, blowing up both itself and of course, her Archangel. With one less monster now on the field for herself to use, she had to resort to another stratagem which she had set up; “Alright then, I’ll activate this card instead…” she mentioned as she plucked another card from her hand, revealing it to both Stone and Breaker; “…I activate my Monster Reborn spell from my hand” she called out, as a hologram of the card soon appeared onto the field in front of her; “And with this spell, I can resurrect my fallen angel back to the field!” she explained in simple terms.
Stone on the other hand, couldn’t help but chuckle a little more, as he soon pressed a switch on his duel disk; “Not going to happen, little missy! I activate my Trap card; Dark Bribe!” he called out, as the face down card soon flipped face up, revealing it to his unlucky opponent; “Sure, this little card will allow you to draw an additional card, but it negates your spell and destroys it!” he explained, as the hologram of Maria’s card simply shattered into thousands of pieces, as she placed the card into her graveyard, before drawing a card from the top of her deck in accordance to the card effect. Maria had now lost two cards to help her right now, so she had to decide upon another way, as she soon plucked another card from her hand. “If that’s how you are going to play, then I’ll summon out a new angel to spread her wings out!” she smiled as she called it out, placing the card she held onto her duel disk; “Let’s go, Archangel Melissa!” she announced, as the holographic system soon picked up its pace, as the newly placed card has its form created in front of them.
As the monster started to form, the first thing to notice was her long white hair which flowed down her back with such elegance and care, as her eyes shimmered a lively silver, like the new moon that glimmered at night. Soon, as the rest of her body formed, a lovely gown dress that glowed like the romantic moon appears above her figure, swaying down her lovely legs to merely a couple of inches away from her ankles, as a white sash like belt glides across the waist of her body, holding the dress in place there. A pair of silver, glittering high heeled shoes soon formed onto her feet, easily showing off her elegant dress sense as a pair of lovely white feathered wings emerged from her back, spreading out to an arm’s length as she closed her eyes softly, before placing her hands firmly against one another, as if she were about to pray. Her stats were soon revealed to Maria, as well as both of her opponents

However, Stone had some better ideas for the newly summoned monster at the time; “If you think I’m going to let that happen, think again!” he shouted across at her, pressing a switch on his duel disk before thrusting his hand forward; “I activate my trap card; Two For One!” he called out, as the card soon flipped face up, revealing its card art to Maria easily. “With this little trap card, I can negate your monster’s summoning and destroy it by giving up a monster on my side of the field” he chuckled slightly, as the card started to glow easily; “So say adios to your only monster once again!” he announced with that same chuckle and grin of his, before both his own monster, and that of Maria’s monster shattered into thousands of pieces, leaving no trace of their presence behind. Maria only had but one monster to cause some damage this turn, and she had to act now; “Then I’ll activate my set card, the Trap; Angel’s Guardian!” she called out, as the card flipped face up, revealing it to both Breaker and Stone; “With this card, I can select and Special Summon an Archangel from my graveyard and summon it to my side of the field in face up attack position!” she explained the effects of her card, and yet, Breaker seemed unfazed by this manoeuvre. Stone grinned a little as he noticed the grin upon his brother’s face; “Do you realize that neither of us shall allow you a valuable move in this duel, little one” he mentioned, as he thrust his hand towards his side of the field; “I activate the Trap card, Iron Core Luster!” he called out, as the card flipped face up, revealing its card art to Maria. Breaker plucked a card from his hand, revealing it to his female opponent; “Did you really think that I would leave Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru in my graveyard without a second one in my hand!?” he chuckled out loud, as the card he revealed glowed slightly; “Now since I’ve revealed an Iron Core in my hand, my Trap stops your own card and destroys it on the spot!” he explained with such a devilish grin upon his lips.
Maria was lost for words, as her last card she would be able to use this turn was made useless by such executed play by the two brothers, much to her dismay. “Now say goodbye to your pathetic little play” Breaker commented, as his own card shot a blast from its card art, shattering Maria’s own activated card, which no longer was useable; “So much for your little deck being powerful” Breaker chuckled a bit more, as he placed his card back into his current hand. Maria was now left without a move she could do this turn, and without any kind of move to give her some advantage, it would prove difficult to overcome their stun decks; “Maria, I can tell you are slightly struggling here” Torcura started to speak up in his humanoid form, causing Maria to look to her right suddenly; “Yeah, I am a little, but their stun decks are proving difficult for me to play against” she commented to her partner dragon. Torcura nodded his head softly, but revealed a slight smile; “You may have lost the chance to play a little damage to them this turn, but you still have that card to help you out regardless” he commented to Maria, in which she understood as she looked at her own hand; “Yeah, I still have that play, so it may have to do for now” she concurred with Torcura, as she plucked two cards from her hand, and slid them into her own duel disks slot underneath the base of it. “I’ll set these two cards down, and end my turn” she mentioned to both her opponents, as two cards emerge onto the field in a holographic state, not revealing what they are to both Breaker and Stone at the time.
“If you believe a couple of face down cards will save you girl, you are sadly mistaken!” Stone called across to her; “It’s my move now!” he mentioned, as he drew his next card from the top of his current deck; “Not so fast, I activate my face down card” Maria called out, as a set card of hers flipped face up; “I play my Angel’s Halo card, and since I control no monsters, with it I can pay up a thousand of my life points to special summon an Archangel from my deck directly to my side of the field in face up defence position, as long as its level is six or below” she explained, as a card popped out of her deck, in which she plucked out and placed it upon her duel disk; “Let’s go, Archangel Rose!” she exclaimed.

In such a short moment, the feminine body generated as its stature started to take form as it revealed that her hair was light purple that flowed down to that of her shoulders, which suited her own beautiful, sky blue eyes. As the rest of her form took shape, it revealed that her clothing was rather plain and yet beautiful as it was a rather elegant white dress that flowed down to just under her own knees, which was easily complimenting that of her own white strap high-heeled shoes. As she looked over towards that of the opponent, she slipped onto the card of her own form, sitting down with her legs curled slightly to the right hand side; her white, feathery wings soon spread out, revealing how glamorous they really were. Her stats were once revealed to both her owner and opponents.

Stone simply stared at this new predicament, however, it was nothing that surprised him to such a degree; “If you think that is really going to keep your defences up, you are sadly mistaken” he grinned as he plucked three cards from his hand; “I set these three cards face down” he called out. As the two cards he slid into his duel disk generated three holograms of the set cards on his side of the field, he plucked another card from his own hand; “Next, I’ll summon out my Exarion Universe from my hand directly to the field” he mentioned, placing the card onto the base of the duel disk, as a three-dimensional form of the monster soon emerged onto the field, and soon enough, its stats were revealed to all three duellists at the time.

“Next, I’ll have my own monster strike yours in battle!” Stone called out, as his centaur like deity charged forward towards Maria’s side of the field, holding its lance straight and true to strike its current opponent; “Next, the ability of my Exarion Universe activates, so by reducing its attack by four hundred points, you’ll be taking some damage this turn, equal to the difference of my monster’s attack and your childish being’s defence!” he explained. At this point, the attack of Stone’s lone monster reduced its attacking strength to a more appropriate manner to its effect.
Exarion Universe: ATK/1800 > ATK/1400
After the monster’s power was cut down, the attack continued against that of Maria’s defensive angel, which soon was struck with the sharp end of the lance, piercing its body before shattering in a many pieces. As her monster was destroyed, the lance continued to strike on forward, slamming some extra damage at Maria’s life points, despite the fact she believed to be safe from the attack after summoning a monster to protect her, only for it to be in vain.

Despite the fact that damage had struck Maria’s life points right then, she still had another trick up her own sleeve; “At this moment, I activate the effect of my Archangel Rose” she called out, as a hologram of the card that was defeated in battle revealed itself on the field once more. A card soon popped out of her own duel disk, causing her to smile softly as she held it up in her hand slightly; “With her effect, I can Special Summon one Archangel from my deck directly to my side of the field in face up defence position, as long as its level is four or below” she explained. The card in which she held up was soon placed upon the base of the duel disk in a more horizontal position unlike the position in which the card appeared on Stone’s duel disk for his own monster; “With her effect, I summon out my Archangel Vanessa to the field!” she called out, as the three-dimensional holographic system started to pick up in pace once more.
As the body started to form, it revealed a female figured body with long flowing strawberry blonde hair reaching down to her waist, along with her silver like eyes. Soon enough, her dressing attire started to form completely, revealing a short length, grey with white floral patterns kimono as if it was a short based dress, with a white soft leather belt around the waist, as well as a pair of white knee high, flat sole boots. In her right hand, held a long thin blade known as a rapier, as well as growing out of her back, was a pair of majestic snow white, feathery wings. It soon moved down onto one knee, holding its sword down against the ground as her stats were soon revealed.

Stone knew this was merely a sign of being desperate for some defence now, as he continued to show that same expression from the start of the duel; “If this is the only thing you are able to do, then I am merely disappointed” he chuckled, as Breaker too started to chuckle. Stone soon pointed over at Maria, grinning slightly at the time; “I believe I’ll end my turn there and have my brother take you down another notch” he commented, as Breaker nodded his head at his own brother, who Stone soon nodded back. Breaker then placed his hand next to his graveyard; “Now since it’s my turn, instead of drawing a card from my deck, I can add my Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru from my graveyard to my hand instead” he explained, as a card soon popped out of his graveyard, allowing him to add it back to his own hand. “Next it’s time to reduce that little fairy of yours to dust!” Breaker called out, as he held up his Iron Core Spell card; “Now by banishing this card from my hand, I can bring a more destructive force to reduce you to nothing but ash” he mentioned, as he placed the card into his deck pouch, before plucking another card from his hand and planting it upon his own duel disk; “Now rise, my draconic deity! Koa’ki Meiru Maximus!” he exclaimed, as flames soon surrounded his side of the field. As the flames started to disperse, it revealed the huge draconic monster, but in comparison to that of Torcura, The Holy Dragon which Maria held in her possession, this monster was merely a third of the size; however, its stats were nothing to laugh about.

“Now it is time to bring your little defence down a notch” Breaker chuckled, looking over towards Stone with that grin of his, knowing of what possible cards he would have set face down right now. Stone nodded his head, before pressing a switch on his duel disk and thrust his hand forward; “I activate the Trap card; Final Attack Orders!” he called out, as the card soon flipped face-up, revealing it to all of them; “And with this card now on the field, all monsters currently face-up on the field are now forced into attack position!” he explained with a creepy chuckle. Maria’s eyes widened on the spot, as her currently defending Archangel Vanessa was now forced to stand on her own two feet, leaving her now a victim of the monstrous being that Breaker currently had out on the field. “Now you are left with no defence’s little girl!” Breaker called out as he chuckled, soon pointing over at Maria’s lone monster; “Now I shall strike down your little monster!” he further mentioned, before his mighty monster let out a draconic roar. “Maximus, attack her wimpy angel with Maximum Flare!” he shouted out, as his monster soon took off into the air, homing in on Maria’s side of the field; “Burn her angel into ashes!” he further mentioned.
Maria was fortunate to know that she had an effect that could still played; “I activate the effect of my Archangel Vanessa!” she called out, as her monster started to glow slightly; “Thanks to her ability, if she is attacked by an opposing monster that is not of the Light attribute, then that monster loses eight hundred attack points during the damage step” she explained her monster’s great power. However, this left Breaker unfazed by the activated effect; “If you think that will save you, then your math is poorly executed!” he shouted across; “Because even with your wimpy winged girl’s effect, her attack power is still outmatched by another four hundred points!” he explained with that same confident, and yet creepy grin upon his lips.
Koa’ki Meiru Maximus: ATK/3000 > ATK/2200
“Now, let the attack continue on my mighty beast!” Breaker shouted above himself, allowing his monster to continue its assault upon Maria’s field. Koa’ki Meiru Maximus was soon soaring over the entire field, before forming flames within its own mighty jaws; and as the flames soon merge into one singular attack, it flung its head forward allowing its own power to fly towards Maria’s only monster, destroying it within a matter of seconds and shattering her into many pieces; with the damage soon reaching her and depleting her life that much more. Maria tried to shield the incoming damage with her arms covering her face, and yet, to no avail as the power of the assault on her monster and life points caused her to slide back a little from her current spot, due to the immense power of the shock waves.

“Next, I activate the effect of my own monster!” Breaker called out, as his own creature let out yet another draconic roar; “Its own strength knows no bounds, even more so that it has the power to select and destroy one card on the field and send it to the graveyard!” he further clarified as his grin widened just so slightly. Maria knew that the only card that they would certainly select was the one right in front of her, but to her displeasure; “Now Maximus, send that set card of hers to the graveyard and leave her with only a strand of hope remaining!” Breaker shouted out, as the roars of the beast before him sent shock waves across the field towards hers, flipping the card face-up and shattering it into many pieces, but not so fast that Breaker and Stone couldn’t see what the card was, and why she did not activate it. Breaker couldn’t help but laugh out loud; “I cannot believe it, your face down card was only Call of the Haunted!?” he continued to laugh on the spot, much to Maria’s discontent; “I bet you were hoping to use that card to bring your little angel called Wingbeat back, weren’t you?” he continued to laugh. Stone couldn’t help but laugh out in such a diabolical manner; “I bet she planned to summon out a monster that could stand a chance against what was set against her” he chuckled in such a manner to Maria’s disliking; “But then again, even if she managed to summon a monster strong enough, she would still stand no chance against us!” he continued to speak, with chuckles at each end of the sentence. “Now you are left with no monsters, no cards on the field and not only that, but with merely twelve hundred life points remaining, you are no longer in a position to win this duel!” Breaker explained, grinning a little more, but in such a manner that make anyone’s skin crawl, before he sent a copy of his Iron Core of Koa’ki Meiru to the graveyard due to own effect of his mighty monster.
Maria looked down at the three cards in her hand, and all she had right now was two cards that could not be activated without consequence and a monster in which she could not summon without others to tribute; this had left her in the most difficult situation of her duelling career. Torcura soon started to speak up to Maria, as her looked down at her in his humanoid form in which she could only see; “I cannot see any way out of this now Maria, but you did your best to protect me, but I’m afraid it wasn’t enough” he commented with a calm tone, but of course knew of the stakes from this duel, especially if Maria lost. Maria gritted her teeth slightly, as she looked down at her deck, preparing to draw what may be her last card to turn it around, but as she was about to draw her next card, a voice shouted out “Young lady, don’t draw your next card yet!” which shocked her all of a sudden, especially to wonder where the origin of that voice had come from. The voice was not only heard by her, but was also heard by the other two, as they looked around to find the origin of the voice; “Who said that!?” Breaker called out, as his eyes diverted from left to right, searching for anyone nearby. The voice soon spoke up once more; “I cannot believe what I see, two grown men taking on one defenceless young lady in a duel, and they speak as if she is weak” they commented without revealing themselves; “I would say that the ones who are truly weak, are the ones who are bullying this young lady in a game we all know and love from deep within our hearts” they commented once more. Both Breaker and Stone gritted their teeth out of annoyance, as the mysterious voice was taunting them so much that it made them mad; “Show yourself coward! Show us your face instead of hiding in shadows!” Stone shouted out, as he too was just as annoyed as his brother.
The voice couldn’t help but chuckle in a calming tone; “Coward? I wouldn’t call myself such a thing” they commented softly; “It would be more along the lines of a ‘Hero’ I would say” they added to their previous statement. Breaker and Stone were now on the edge of being outraged by this unknown voice, especially as it made fun of them further by calling themselves a ‘Hero’ instead of a coward; “Will you show yourself you little punk!” Breaker shouted across the whole park, before his wishes were to be answered. All of a sudden, someone dropped from the sky in a fashionable manner, holding their clenched up hand upon the ground itself; “You wanted me, you’ve got me” they chuckled as they lifted their head up, revealing their shaded blue eyes and slightly messy brown hair. Stone stared suddenly at the intruder, especially as they managed to enter the surrounded by purple and black flames battle arena; “Who…who are you supposed to be!?” he shouted across at them, as they simply smiled back towards the two brothers. They stood up, revealing a confident smile upon their lips, before moving their right hand up and pointed at themselves with their right thumb; “Wanna know who I am? The name’s Gaijirou Takamura, and I’m here to save the day” he confidently spoke, as he continued to smile. As they all stood in place, with the look of annoyance on Breaker and Stone’s faces, while Maria had a look of confusion upon hers, as the scenario started to fade out with the confident face upon the mysterious Gaijirou’s face, ending the scenario entirely for now.
