| Subject: Crystal Beasts Sun Dec 14, 2014 7:25 am | As some of you may know, CB has gotten some long overdue support (how many years has it been). You guys can read the cards but to give a basic idea: Crystal Vanguard: Search any CB monster/spell/trap at the expense of a normal summon (p.s. looks like Jesse infected by Yubel)
Crystal Defender: Honest like effect for CB monsters, doubles their attack but is destroyed at the end of the battle (this is just Jesse)
Crystal Hoard: Special summoner within the deck + can be used to bounce any threats, great card.Before I post the deck, I am still experimenting with the deck so it will change after I figure out the right ratios. However, for now I'm quite happy with this. Strengths: Very fast swarming and set up with Crystal Tree and Crystal Hoard Easy access to Lightning Chidori (which I consider to be one of the best rank 4s) Destruction effects don't hurt you too much If you beat meta decks you get bragging rights Weaknesses: Still combo reliant Strongest beater by itself is Sapphire Pegasus Drawing Ruby is HORRIBLE! Have fun and any opinions are always welcomed!

I love the hand trap support + the destruction at the End Phase makes the spells usable. I am definitely going to try this. |

Vanguard is still needed for the search, and it can always be placed in the pendulum spot if you want. In this deck setting up is easy with Crystal Tree, Summoner Monk and Ayers Rock. Vanguard doesn't really slow the deck down too much in that sense.
@Dragoon
Well this isn't really meta :p

I made one too and ended up with the exact same monster line-up as yours, and almost the same in the extra deck (I have Downerd Magician instead of M7). The spells and traps are somewhat different with ratios though. I run 1 Crystal Promise, for example, and only 1 Ayers. This is done to make place for Torrential Tribute (no losses), Warning and Black Horns (anti xyz/synchro). |
