THE FOLLOWING IS MADE BY RaphaelLamperouge (PolarFury)Hello everyone, most recently we have been having some "problems" regarding the servers, so I'm making this quick tutorial.
YGOPro runs on a server. Using the IP method you can make the "server" your own computer, this is possible because you'll only be hostng 1 game and not thousands. This is popularly known as "IP Duelling".
This tutorial applies to YGOPRO version 1.02d0. (the current one, as of this guide)
I'm using YGOPRO Percy Version, in theory, KC uses the same client and just adds a patch, so you shuold be able to do the same process.
EDIT: Not everyone can host games due to connection limitations. Try it out, if you follow this guide and it doesn't work, yeah, too bad.
In this case, someone would have to host for you, OR you would need hamachi/comodo (provided the servers aren't on)
However, if you're good at computer science, you should try to unlock your port "7911". This is the main port used to play the game. Also check your antivirus and firewall, maybe it's blocking connection. This guide won't be covering this, but here you got some links to help you.

http://www.t1shopper.com/tools/port-scan/ <<<< This site can scan your port and checks if it's open or not. You need YGOPRO hosting at the same time.
http://www.portforward.com <<< Use this to "forward" your ports, only if necessary.

1st: Discover the IPDecide who will host the game, if you're hosting, you need to find your IP and give it to your friend, so he can connect to you.
How? Very simple. Type "my ip" on google. It'll automatically show it, you don't need to open any link.
=================================================================
2nd: Open ygopro.exeInside your ygopro/tdoane's folder, there's an executable called "ygopro", or maybe "ygopro_vs". You'll open it.
If you don't already have a shortcut for it, I advise you to do so for easy access.
==================================================================
3rd: Click MultiplayerClick the multiplayer button. (obvious)
==================================================================
4th: Click LAN Mode===================================================================
5th: Scream. LEEEEEEEEEET'S REV IT UP! or "It's time to duel!"If you're hosting, you'll just click "Host", choose your settings and wait on your friend.
If you're joining, you'll paste your friends IP as shown in the image and click join!

6th: Duel =DPlay rock-paper-scissors and dream you would ever get a picture like this one:
