Howdy I do play the YGOPro and the new era as well I have no idea what I need to do to get started my decks are my decks but ya I'm a bit lost in this big place

hi Emberwolf92. Welcome to the exciting, almost obsolete, world of forum dueling. My suggestion to you is two-fold. 1. If you're gonna be part of a forum, read EVERYTHING. Reading is the answer. You will learn, and hopefully retain, plenty of information here to help you in your quest to be a good duelist. However, since forums are dying out, as I pointed out earlier, that brings me to my 2nd piece of advice.
2. Network. The main reason people are shying away from forum dueling is because it's much more convenient to do everything via skype and forego posting. My skype ID is live:sinisgood. You may add me if you wish. If not, feel free to browse the forum and get a sense of who the top dogs are in this outdated academy. They'll be valuable contacts to you if you're looking to play competitively.
