Fixing the main post...this is CROSSFIRE. Single elimination is always always crossfire. Hearts is a version where every teammate is not eliminated.

Ok, there seems to be a little confusion here:

The reason I changed it to Crossfire is because I noticed people getting eliminated after a single loss. Single loss = Single Elimination. Single Elimination = Crossfire by default.

ANY BATTLE TYPE that involves completely eliminating the other team is CROSSFIRE. That's the whole definition of a crossfire war. IT can be either double elimination or single elimination.

HEARTS is where you don't have to eliminate everyone on the other team...you just have to kill all their hearts. IT can still be double elimination (but never single elimination)...so SOME people will get eliminated, but the goal is not to eliminate the whole team. Just the hearts or "lives".

So to clarify, this war is Single Elimination Crossfire, based on the original description of the war. One loss = elimination. The winning team is the one that eliminates the entire opposing team first.
