When I have some time, I create cards for fun, and sometime it's a complete archetype. So I think, because it's a Yu-Gi-Oh forum here, that I will post them here and receive some comments

The first archetype I will post here is an archetype called Sin

First, I created this archetype for a project of Yu-Gi-Oh manga I had in mind. Then, I decided to make it for a friend who want to draw a Yu-Gi-Oh manga. This will be the deck of a person who want to destroy all the new type (In his manga, there is a new type called Hybrid). It's like the Placido in 5D's, or more precisely the Kaito in ZEXAL.

Base of the deck: This deck as a strong strategy and if it is used perfectly, it is a dangerous deck. This deck is called Sin, and his base is to take advantage of monsters type by putting a counter of a monster type (example, I choose Warrior, I put a Warrior Counter on it) and his effect affect all monsters of the same type as a counter on it.

What you have to be careful of in card creation is not to overpower the cards



The controller of this card pays 300 Life Points during each of his/her Standby Phases (this is not optional). When this card is targeted by the effect of a card controlled by your opponent, when resolving the effect, roll a six-sided die. If the result is 4, negate the effect and destroy the opponent's card. This card can not be removed from play and always goes to the Graveyard if destroyed

And also it fits within the paramiters of similar cards it mimicks !

Got to admit, some interesting design ideas here, especially since I've designed around 2500 cards so far, maybe even more, haven't checked lately.

Of course, my designs are mostly revealed in my fan fics I write (this is not an advert of any sorts, just an explanation) and base it around all sorts of different plays, like Banishing them, to that of multiple monsters needed on the field to power them up, etc.
