Hey Guest thanks for taking the time to view this.

Monoman01 wrote this Deck Analysis for QLIPHORT just after the new challengers set was released & was posted on ERA. Since we don't know what we will do with that forum yet i asked permission to post it here so please give it a read over & give us some feedback below thanks.

NAME: QLIPHORT
SET: NEW CHALLENGERS (NECH)
PRICE FOR DECK (CURRENTLY): LOW £250-300 HIGH £350-400 (DEPENDENT ON RARITY)
WIN CONDITION: APOQLIPHORT TOWERS, FTK, OTK

This article will be featuring an in depth look into the New Challenger's pendulum set known as Qliphorts (Klee-Port). The deck appears to be extremely strong and konami have definitely caught its audiences' attention about the power and capabilities of the new mechanic pendulum summoning. Having only just being released it saw an impressive representation at the last ARG held on 8th-10th November 2014 with 3 players using it in top 8. Unfortunately the finals - a gripping 5th match duel - they lost out to Burning Abyss piloted by non other than Patrick Hoban. However as the format unravels and as we get closer to the next regional season and banlist how good are Qliphorts?

Currently there have been 6 Qliphort monsters AND 1 currently relevant spell and  1 relevant trap card released in the new NECH TCG boxes - these are:

Qliphort Scout:
The main searcher, known as the "ROTA for anything"
Activate in pendulum zone, pay 800 lifepoints, search any "qli" card
Amount ran in deck: 3

Qliphort Carrier:
The main normal summon, known as "The Raiza of the deck"
Normal summoned without tribute as an 1800 level 4, when tributed its effect allows the player to return 1 monster on the field to its owner's hand.
Amount ran in deck: 3

Qliphort Helix:
The second normal summon guy, known as "MST with legs"
Normal summoned without tribute as an 1800 level 4, when tributed its effect allows the player to destroy 1 spell or trap card on the field.
Amount ran in deck: 2-3

Qliphort Disk:
The special summoner, known as "The Rescue Rabbit of the Deck"
Normal summoned without tribute as an 1800 level 4, when you tribute summon him with 2 "Qli" monsters he has the ability to special summon 2 Qliphort monsters from your deck (they are destroyed in your end phase).
Amount ran in deck: 2-3

Qliphort Shell:
The double attacker, known as "BLS with piercing damage"
Normal summoned without tribute as an 1800 level 4, when you tribute summon him with 2 "Qli" monsters he has the ability to attack twice in the same battle phase and inflicts piercing damage.
Amount ran in deck: 0-1

Apoqliphort Towers:
Win condition, known as "Scoop"
Tribute 3 "Qli" monsters to summon this guy, 3000 beatstick unaffected by 90% of the current spells and traps in the game. All special summoned monsters your opponent control lose 500 attack.
Amount ran in deck: 0-1, optional some opt to run him in side due to inconsistency

Saqlifice
Spell Card
Safe Zone adder, known as "Scout search Saqlifice"
The main card you want to be searching with Scout, he boosts your Qliphort monster by 300atk and it cannot be destroyed by battle, it can also be treated as 2 "Qli" tributes. When it is sent to the graveyard you can search any "Qli" monster.
Amount ran in deck: 3

Qlimate Change
Trap Card
Recycler, known as "Salvage for Qliphorts"
Adds up to 3 face up "Qli" pendulum monsters from extra deck to hand
Amount ran in deck: 0-1, optional as some do not like it due to lack of space in main deck

The reason for the success of Qliphorts is that they are extremely hard to kill as destroying them will merely return them to the extra deck. They have the ability to plus extremely quickly with an additional add with Qliphort Scout every turn. The ability to pendulum summon 4-5 monsters each turn is an extremely daunting prospect for any opponent to face and if the pendulum scale remains intact this deck has the ability to OTK extremely quickly.

Non-"Qli" card support

Searching:
The decks main support is that of the ability to search out Qliphort Scout as quickly as possible in order for the searches to start picking up, therefore players opt in and out of using the following cards dependant on playstyle:

Monsters:
Pendulum Dragon

Spells
Upstart Goblin
Summoner's Art
Pot of Duality

Traps
N/A

In my opinion Pendulum Dragon is too slow for the deck, and upping the spell count of the deck using the latter 3 is a better option than running pendulum dragon which has the opportunity to be hit by cards such as Mystical Space Typhoon and Spell-Shattering Arrow. The latter 3 enable you to quickly get through the deck and still being able to have a turn to make a play although some may like to play Pendulum Dragon as it can also help search out Performpal Trampolynx (see below).

Power/Advantage Cards:

A lot of cards help the deck either OTK faster or help to lock the opponent out of being able to play, this makes the deck extremely versatile and cards such as Skill Drain launch this deck into being Tier 1 - instead of having 1800 normal summon-able guys, the deck becomes full of 2400 and 2800 beatsticks.

Monsters:
Performpal Trampolynx

Spells:
Forbidden Chalice
Limiter Removal

Traps:
Skill Drain

Performpal Trampolynx not only gives players access to another search after pendulum summoning (bouncing Scout to hand and reactivating effect) but it also enables the player to access their extra deck and make an XYZ play. Although making an XYZ play is not essential to the deck it again helps in its versatility and there are  good rank 4 plays for both mirror matches as well as meta match-ups. Whilst a lot of players seem to really like this card and run 2 copies of him, I personally after much testing see no need to run more than 1 copy - whilst it is a brilliant card to use whilst you are winning, it is not something which if you are losing you would hope to topdeck. As for Chalice and Skill Drain these are what makes the deck alive. In many ways Chalice is superior to Skill Drain as it is not susceptible to things like Trap stun though both definitely have 2-3 spots each in main deck as you are able to severely punish your opponent if their deck is effect based. Limiter Removal is one of those cards like Trampolynx which many people run but which I feel the extra deck space is un-needed...remember you want consistency and speed...it is not a card you want to top, although player preference may override that statement as some like to play it.

OVERVIEW:

I like how the deck flows, the right builds of it are extremely consistent and it has probably the best search power of any current deck in YU-GI-OH. The ability to search and search again and then suddenly explode in a flurry of normal, special, and pendulum summoning can easily overwhelm your opponents board. Konami really showcase pendulum monsters off which is what they aimed to do and if not stopped early game the card advantage can quickly shift into the favour of the Qliphort players.

The deck has faults and whilst it is good at taking the meta on one of, if not its weakest match ups are Burning Abyss due to the fact it cannot OTK as well as it could with other decks due to the massive amount of floaters. The new support burning abyss received in NECH with "Fire Lake of the Burning Abyss" and the new tuner and synchro also mean that establishing a board is difficult for the Qliphort players and with cards like "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast" Qliphort players can sometimes find their own engine overrun.

There are also cards which the deck has problems dealing with such as "Vanity Emptiness", "Mystical Space Typhoon", "Spell Shattering Arrow" and "Fairy Wind" which can shut Qliphort players plusses off which leaves the deck dead in the water. Another problem I found in testing was the recycle ability of the deck to reuse the Qliphort monsters which have been sent face up to the extra deck which at the moment is poor, although this could improve if Konami brought out new Qliphort support. The deck is in no way as broken as players believe it to be and requires patience to get used to and understanding of the cards. It takes a skillful player to master the deck and to know it inside and out. One missplay or one misscalculation and it could all be over for the Qliphort player.

Take time and care into your own build of the deck, although 25% of the deck will be standard there are a lot of individual changes and player choices dependant upon what each individual players likes and what works for that player. My build of the deck, having only been out for less than a week, has changed about 5/6 times and I am constantly trying out new ideas for the side deck as well as some tech choices...so see what works for you!

Personally I really love the deck. I have always been a control style player and the monster effects combined with the search power enable me generally to control the field presence. The fact that you do not have to fear destruction cards such as mirror force or torrential tribute as the cards will merely return to extra deck and you can pendulum summon them next turn is an added bonus. If there was one thing I wish there was more of it is recycling ability within the deck.

BEST THING: CONTROL THE BOARD
MVP: QLIPHORT SCOUT
PROBLEMS WITH DECK: RECYCLING PENDULUM MONSTERS, SUSCEPTIBILITY TO S/T DESTRUCTION
WORST MATCHUP: BURNING ABYSS
ENDING SUGGESTION: CARE IN BUILD, CONSTRUCT SIDE DECK WITH PRIMARILY BURNING ABYSS/MIRROR IN MIND

I would love to play some more qliphorts but of course thanks to percy's bugs it's almost impossible to play them anymore. Nice introduction to qliphorts though quite detailed. Maybe you should provide a deck list or deck skeleton for those who wish to try it out.

Nice work
