I also have found that you will use a lot of cards for the summon of your good lvl 8 xyzs and therefore you have hand disadvantage. You also can dead draw into too many spells alot (at least in my many duels). This makes it really hard to use photons, can anyone help with making photons a good deck? or are they broken until they get new support (I think they might be like mermails and atlanteans because they might release Number 107 galaxy eyes tachyon dragon) Here are some photon decks i have made https://imgur.com/0932l,DMCwq,XVboc |

They are hard to play unless your opponents has an xyz deck or you playing against yuma tsukumo lol. One weakness maybe...photon deck is too much focus on attacking :/ But some photon monster are quite good for rank 4 xyz. I like photons and I will continue to use them for a while |

Its effect is that you Target a Lv 7 or higher monster on the field and then All monsters you control become that same level until the end phase,
So if you have Galaxy eyes all you need is any 2 other monsters and the spell and you have Neo Galaxy Eyes Dragon , This works well with Tour Guide since when you summon it you can summon another monster which then will both be changed to Lv 8 with the card effect if Galaxy eyes is on the field.
Although this card isn't 100% consistent its an easy way to summon High rank xyz monsters for a lower cost |

I agree that Photons are a boss. But the thing that would kill this deck is that LADD. So why run that? Also, there are some good photon cards. I can show you my build if you'd like. |

If you make sure the deck is very concise, it takes you a while to search everything and set-up your plays beforehand. 2. If you don't the deck starts being unconcise and even more slow, even with the cards that add more combos rather than concistancy.
In the end its best to axe it when it comes to competitiveness, but it is playable. |
