Yo, Hitaru here discussing my favourite archetype, Jurracs.
I'm very passionate when it comes to seeing this archetype get play and i raised myself with a very positive win / lose ration on YO3 using a budget version of this deck.
In this thread i will be showing the 3 main ways that people can use Jurracs as the main play of the deck:The above deckbuild is called flamvell Jurrac. This is in no way the only way to blend jurracs and flamvell, it is simply put together in the way i find to be the most consistent.
The only reason this deck is able to happen is thanks to all jurracs being fire type monsters, meaning that jurrac aoelo, who has 200 def points, can be summoned by rekindling. The idea behind the deck is to keep hitting the oponent with beatsticks such as guaiba and firedog, both of which can search the deck AND bring out the much needed aeolo's, which makes the deck thin enough to make the chances of pulling one of the all important rekindlings much higher.
Rekindling in this deck can make absolutely anything possible with aeolo's in the grave and enough jurracs or flamvells. As Aeolo has the ability to tribute himself to summon a lv4 or lower jurrac from your grave, an average rekindling play in this deck will summon flamvell firedog and magician, allowing you to go into scrap dragon or stardust, and 2 or more aeolo's, allowing you to tribute themselves to summon 2 lv4 jurrac monsters, which go straight into laggia or dolkka, take your pick.
The thing that makes jurracs stand better than solid flamvells is the ability to consistantly recruit. You will almost always have either guaiba or firedog in your hand in order to beat something down and pull out a tuner from your deck. Since both firedog and guaiba have the ability to summon aeolo, they in theory have the ability to summon any jurrac from your graveyard other than herra, meaning that you can easily attack into a careless enemy with a full field that has left a weak monster laying around, summon dino, a 3 star tuner and black rose them on the spot.
Also notable is the use of smashing ground and kinka-byo in this deck, these are key players as they make the deck play out strongly without even needing the rekindlings. kinka-byo allows you to summon aeolo from the graveyard when you normal summon it and then at the end of the turn kinka-byo returns to your hand. not only does this mean an easy formula synchron in an attempt to get shooting star, but it also means that i am never losing cards in my hand when i normal summon. This is where smashing ground comes in. We've all lost once or twice against gadget decks just because we had our monsters destroyed by smashing ground and then gotten beaten down by their infinate gadget advantage. Well kinka-byo offers this exact same advantage, while the oponent can run out of monsters, the jurrac player will always have one they can summon. more to the point, every time you summon a jurrac using aeolo in this way, should it be in defence position, you also allow yourself to summon a free herra from your hand or graveyard every single time. Pretty sweet, no? It's also worth noting that flamvell poun can search out aoelo, firedog, magician AND kinka-byo.
The above deck is what i call Jurrac Tool Dragon
This is a much less consistent but extremely fun deck to play. the premise is simple, you special summon inferno and spirit of fire using your dead jurracs, and normal summon one of the level 3 tuner jurracs from your hand in order to make power tool dragon. You can also use guaiba and summon dino and monoloph for the same effect.
The above deck is what i call Solid Jurrac, reason is obvious.
This is the much more basic way of playing jurracs, you weaken their monsters and make yours stronger with solidarity and burden of the mighty, and you beat them down to win. I shouldn't need to explain. However it is worth noting that this is where jurrac giganoto can really see play, with his ability to bring a HUGE buff to not only himself, but all other jurrac on the field with him he is far from a light beater. The same applies for jurrac monolph, not only is he a 3 star tuner beatstick with a base atk of 1500, but his effect allows him to attack EVERY monster the oponent controlls once each. This means he can pretty much clear the field by himself with a solidarity active, it's a joke.
