Unohana's scar and what we've seen gives me the impression that the latter and Zaraki have fought before. Would make sense given that Zaraki gave Yachiru her name in remembrance of the "only person he ever admired". Zaraki also had the scar on his face at the beginning of his "timeline" of known events, pre-Gotei 13.

I'm hoping Shunsui was exaggerating or drunk there because I really don't want Unohana to die just after her epicness has been revealed. Let's face it, Zaraki will not die here. His fanbase is too big and he has bigger amount of hype. Perhaps only her Kenpachi persona will die and she'll carry on being the gentle captain.

Well they're at the bottom floor of the "Great Prisona"... I'm expecting something big, or nothing at all.
