Yeah I can read the Katakana at the bottom. Maindo Kurashyu. This will be really interesting. Think about the hits you can pull off if you luck hit your opponent's cards xD.

r u serious, how much more OP do u want prophecy to get. its search engine thins the deck making draws more affective and OP. its field is like gear town + draw engine. high priestess is nearly a free summon which pops the field and dont forget spell book of fate with is a quick ply. it has so many other supports. its OP as it is, dont want it to hav more supports to make it "good atm".

anyway i like the ban list except i dont like the fact that sangan is getting banned :/ lol

The thing about Prophecies, is that they are like Chaos Dragons/Twilightdragons/Dragonsworn, or however you like to call them. They are very inconsistent, and there are only two current builds to choose from. Which by the way, run little to no traps, making it a bit problematic to cope with since they require no actual support as they max out Spellbook of Wisdom and have nothing to fear, but Warning on Judgmet, or Rai-Oh. Which are all not restrained due to some reason.

The two builds we have available to choose from is Priestess Prophecy, and Reaper Prophecy.

Each build is different, and unique in it's own right, but Priestess Prophecy is just ridiculous. First of all, Konami must hit either Temperance, or High Priestess to keep the deck in check, while hitting a few Spellbooks to keep it balanced. Preferably Secrets or Fate. Fate is a huge problem especially with the fuel the deck already provides, plus High Priestess allows for neat little gimmicks such as Number 11: Big Eye taking your things and that's just not dandy.

Then Reaper Prophecy is only good when fueling the grave and using Spellbook of the Master to break Reaper, Fortune, or Destroyer, which is just insane as Destroyer becomes immortal during the game unless Macro Cosmos hits early or Chaos Monsters banish the creep.

The Prophecy archetype requires to be knocked down a peg, but as of right now that they successfully got almost all the support needed, it is possible Konami will leave them be until the September Format.

If you guys want to go more in depth about Prophecy I suggest you do so in another thread because this one is going off-topic.

Back on topic... Kinda feel sorry for WU players since hitting Boat was overkill.

Not quite. I think it was done to put a stop to the OTK plays. Wind Ups are still OP though, and Magician remains at 3.

I still see Wind-Ups being played though, they won't be quite as OP with Magician kicked down to one but I think people will find new cards to replace him with and new ways to get off their sick combos.

Zenmairch might see play, as a way to "beast soul swap" magician and re use his effect. this'll give WU users access to their 2 exceed combo, at least. shark magician will work just the same as before, except with only one magician.

OTK can still be made with windups but it's a lot less playable. It needs a Summoner Monk and Shark in hand, Magician in deck and 2 Photon Papiwhatever in extra.

or you can do it without monk, it's still shark magician, gives you the same swarm as the original shark magician, one time, instead of twice within the OTK, provided you don't find a way to pop, say, a tour bus to get magician back in the deck. summon magician, shark, use magician to get another shark, use zenmairch, put magician in hand, put him back on the board, use shark's level change ability, get a 4th monster from deck, be it lv 3 or one of the 4/5 jobbers. it's still a viable play without monk, which is also just as likely as the zenmairch combo. Nah, shark magician is far from dead, it's just been balanced out more than last format. More importantly, I see the potential of players using birdman more often in this build, to re-use magician as much as possible.
