Daybreaks in New Domino City as many cars and Duel Runners roam the roads, people walk in the streets as buildings tower the entire view. Of all the buildings our attention points to is Kaiba Corporation, before zooming out and diverting our attention to the highways where Darian is currently riding on. Darian enters the city from the highway connecting to the mountain pass, going at a steady pace as we begin to enter his thoughts.

Darian: I can't believe it's been three years since I took off on a journey to improve my dueling skills (smiles a little bit) But the three years have been worth it, and now my dueling skills are far better than before, which will allow me to overcome nearly every obstacle.

Darian's thoughts are then interrupted by a speedy white with sapphire blue trim passes by him. Only seconds behind them appears to be six Sector Security Officers also going at some speed, as they seem to be chasing the other Duel Runner. After the speedy Duel Runner and Sector Security pass by Darian, we return back to his thoughts.

Darian: What on earth? What is that about? (he closes his eyes a little) From the looks of things, I better find out (we exit his thoughts)

Right after exiting Darian's thoughts, he revs up his Duel Runner before hitting more speed, in order to catch up with the chase. Our attention then diverts over to the chase, as Sector Security continue to try and overtake the Duel Runner in order to slow it down to a stop. But it seems that the white, Duel Runner outmatches their top speed more than they realize.

Sector Security Officer: This is Sector Security, halt your Duel Runner and pull over!

Female Turbo Duelist: (smiling to herself) You'll have to catch me first, boys.

The female Turbo Duelist then revs up her engine more, gaining a sudden burst of speed, moving further away from the pursuing officers. Sector Security is left speechless as their Duel Runners are already outmatched and cannot reach a higher speed.

Sector Security Officer: (gritting his teeth) Damn it! We cannot keep up with that speed!

Tetsuya: Calm down Jin, it's not our fault our Duel Runners can't keep up.

Jin: I know, but still!

Tetsuya: We'll just have to catch up when we can.

Suddenly, before another word got in, Darian passes Sector Security at high speed, similar to the Female Turbo Duelist's speed. Tetsuya and Jin are left in awe, then Jin goes to a quick assumption about the Turbo Duelist who just past them.

Jin: Is that guy in cahoots with her?!

Tetsuya: (shaking his head slightly) I don't believe he is Jin; after all, he wasn't with her in the same chase.

Jin: (seeming confused) Then why was he going at that speed?

Tetsuya: (smiles a little bit) Probably the same reason as us, Jin.

Jin: (still seeming confused) Why would he be trying to stop her as well? He isn't from Sector Security.

Tetsuya: Trust me Jin, I already have the feeling he is doing that.

Jin: (rolls his eyes) If you say so Tetsuya.

As Jin and Tetsuya continue their current pace, Darian continues his high speed run in order to catch up with the female Turbo Duelist. In just a few moments, Darian manages to catch up to her without as much as pushing his Duel Runner to the max. The female Turbo Duelist notices Darian speeding up behind her, nearly catching up, she then grins a little.

Female Turbo Duelist: Well, well, what do we have here? Someone is actually keeping up with me? How interesting.

Darian: Hey! Pullover, Sector Security asked you to stop!

Female Turbo Duelist: Oh please, do you really except me to be a goody, goody? I don't think so!

All of a sudden, the Female Turbo Duelist revs up her engine even more, which boosts her speed even more than before, leaving behind her a huge gap between her and Darian. As the gap between them widens, Darian decides to rev up his engine even more to give himself a huge jump of speed in order to close the gap between them. When the Female Turbo Duelist notices that Darian is keeping up with her without a problem, she begins to appear impressed.

Female Turbo Duelist: Looks like someone isn't one to give up, are they?

Darian: Once I fix myself on something, I never give any motion!

Female Turbo Duelist: So I see (she grins a little more) Then shall we settle this with a Turbo Duel?

Darian: (nods his head a little) Alright then, let's do this!

Female Turbo Duelist: Before we start, my name is Vivian Starlight.

Darian: Mine's Darian McAllister.

Vivian: Alright then Darian, I'm activating the ''Speed World 2'' Field Spell (she presses a button near the display on her Duel Runner)

Duel Runner: Duel Mode Engaged.

Purple rings appear underneath both Vivian's and Darian's Duel Runners before expanding in width, covering the entire radius. Then the panels on the safety walls pop up across the same section of the highway, before a thin electronic graphics wall pops upon the other side of them.

Duel Terminal: A Turbo Duel is about to begin, all non-combat vehicles must vacate the combat lane immediately. Checking cross town grid for official authorization. Authorization granted.

A lifted road then appears from the ground below to create a junction onto the authorized Duel course for the duel between Vivian and Darian. As they take the junction towards the Duel course, a panel then opens up, letting them access to the course itself.

Vivian & Darian: Turbo Duel, Acceleration!

[Vivian (SPC - 0)/4000 - 4000/(SPC - 0) Darian]

Vivian: (seeming confident) Now little boy, it's ladies first, I draw! (she draws one card from her deck) And I'll summon out Sapphire Guardian in defense mode! (she places the card onto her duel disk)

A blue ring appears onto the right hand side of Vivian's Duel Runner, then a young female in a Greek robe and long sapphire blue hair with a small white shield appears onto the field. Her whole body then turns blue before her stats are shown.

[Sapphire Guardian/Lv3/WATER/ATK 0 - DEF 1100/Aqua-Effect]

Vivian: (she picks two cards from her hand) I'll then place two cards face down on my field (she slides them into the slots of her duel disk) And end my turn like that.

Two cards appear face down a side of Vivian's Duel Runner, before disappearing in a few seconds.

Vivian: (turns her head to the right a little, smiling a little bit) Let's see if you can impress me with your dueling skills, Darian.

Darian: You won't expect any less, it's my turn! (he draws one card from his deck)

Darian: From my hand, I'm summoning out Ancient Gear Knight in attack mode! (he places the card onto his duel disk)

A blue ring appears onto the left hand side of Darian's Duel Runner, then Ancient Gear Knight emerges from within it onto the field. It's stats are then shown.

Darian: (he thrusts his hand forward) Now Ancient Gear Knight will strike down your Sapphire Guardian with Melee Spear!

Ancient Gear Knight then rushes towards Vivian's monster with its spear in front of itself, ready to strike down her monster. Ancient Gear Knight's attack is successful and is able to destroy Sapphire Guardian without any issues, sending it to the graveyard.

Vivian: (grinning a little) Not too bad, I guess.

Darian: (he picks two cards from his hand) I'll place these two cards face-down (he slides them into the slots on his duel disk) And end my turn.

Two cards appear face down aside of Darian's Duel Runner, then disappear again in a matter of seconds.

Vivian: I'm afraid for you, that's not just going to cut it! It's my move! (she draws one card from her deck)

[Vivian (SPC - 2)/4000 - 4000/(SPC - 2) Darian]

Vivian: Now since my field is empty, from my hand I can Special Summon this monster (she places her drawn card onto her duel disk) my Sapphire Mermaid in attack mode!

A blue ring appears in front of Vivian's Duel Runner, then a mermaid with a sapphire blue sealed fish tail instead of legs and long white hair with a white sleeveless, low cut shirt on her upper body emerges onto the field. It's stats are then shown.

Darian: (looking at Vivian's monster) A Tuner monster? Don't tell me you're aiming for a Synchro Summoning?!

Vivian: Whenever I play a Tuner monster, I always perform a Synchro Summoning, little boy! (she picks another card from her hand) Next, I'll summon out my Sapphire Samurai in attack mode! (she places the card onto her duel disk)

Yet another blue ring appears onto Vivian's side of the field, then another young lady with Sapphire blue hair, but wearing samurai armor of white emerges onto her field. It's stats are then shown.

Darian: (raising his right eye brow a little) A level six Synchro monster?

Vivian: (chuckles a little) Why do you boys always assume that's the end of the actual move?

Darian: What?

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand forward) Because now I'll activate the ability of my Sapphire Guardian! (a projection of the card appears in front of her Duel Runner) Since I control exactly two ''Sapphire'' monsters on my side of the field, I can Special Summon it from my graveyard to my side of the field! (a card ejects from her graveyard, she then picks it out) Rise again my monster! (she places the card onto her duel disk)

A blue ring appears alongside of Vivian's Duel Runner, then Sapphire Guardian emerges once again onto her side of the field.

[Sapphire Guardian/Lv3/WATER/ATK 0 - DEF 1100/Aqua-Effect]

Vivian: (smirking slightly) Now I'll be giving my monsters an upgrade! (she thrusts her hand forward once again) I'll be tuning my level three Sapphire Guardian, my level three Sapphire Samurai with my level three Tuner Sapphire Mermaid!

Sapphire Mermaid places her hands together as she flips her tail before dissolving into three glowing stars, before converting into three green rings, flying up into the air.

Vivian: Glistening jewels of the sea and skies!

Sapphire Samurai and Sapphire Guardian then jump up into the air in between the three green rings, their bodies begin to dissolve into their outlines, revealing the three stars in each of them.

Vivian: come hither here in this world of speed and release upon the world your radiant beauty!

The outline of both monsters dissolve completely, then the six glowing stars move into one straight line, before the line of stars converge into a thin bright line, then expanding out engulfing the rings and extending further in length.

Vivian: (grinning some more) SYNCHRO SUMMON! (she holds the card in her hand) Reveal yourself, Sapphire Queen! (she slams the card into her duel disk)
Once the large beam of white light disperses, a young female around her late 20's with long Sapphire hair and wearing a long white dress with white gloves up to her elbows and a medium sized silver crown on her head emerges onto the field. It's stats are then shown.

[Sapphire Queen/Lv9/WATER/ATK ? - DEF ?/Spellcaster-Synchro-Effect]

Darian: (looking fairly confused) No attack points?! What gives Vivian?

Vivian: What gives is that you have yet to comprehend its main ability, because for every ''Sapphire'' monster in my graveyard, she gains 800 attack and defense points!

Darian: (his eyes open wider) What?!

[Sapphire Queen/Lv9/WATER/ATK 2400 (+ 2400) - DEF 2400 (+ 2400)/Spellcaster-Synchro-Effect)

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand to the right side) Now she'll give you a taste of her strength! Sapphire Queen, attack his Ancient Gear Knight with Shimmering Shard!

Sapphire Queen then places her hands forward in the direction of Darian's monster, before conducting a spell which fires shards of sharp sapphire towards Ancient Gear Knight. The attack goes through and strikes Ancient Gear Knight several before it's inevitable destruction, causing some damage to Darian's life points.

Darian: (lowering his head a little) Damn!

[Vivian (SPC - 2)/4000 - (- 600)  3400/(SPC - 2) Darian]

Vivian: (grinning some more) Do not think for one second that's the only piece of damage you'll be getting this turn!

Darian: What?

Vivian: Because I'm activating a face down card (she thrusts her hand forward) the trap card, Sapphire Glacier! (it flips face-up, activating) Thanks to this continuous trap card, whenever a ''Sapphire'' Synchro monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it further inflicts damage, equal to half of the destroyed monster's attack!

Out of the trap card, shards of sapphire shaped like icicles fly out towards Darian, striking his life points, damaging it further.

[Vivian (SPC - 2)/4000 - (- 900)  2500/(SPC - 2) Darian]

Vivian: And with that, I end my turn!

Darian: (gritting his teeth a little, as we enter his thoughts) Damn, she's better than I excepted out of her (he looks towards his hand, then over to his deck) I best start bringing out my best if I am to keep up with her (we exit his thoughts) It's my turn then, Draw! (he draws one card from his deck)

[Vivian (SPC - 3)/4000 - 2500/(SPC - 3) Darian]

Darian: (he thrusts his hand forward) I'm activate my face down card, Speed Siphon! (it flips face-up, activating) Thanks to this trap card, by removing one monster from play, I can gain one Speed Counter for every 500 attack points the removed has! (a card pops out of his graveyard) And since Ancient Gear Knight has 1800 attack points, I gain three Speed Counters!

[Vivian (SPC - 3)/4000 - 2500/(SPC - ( +3) 6) Darian]

Vivian: (she smirks a little) I'm afraid speed isn't everything little boy, it requires skill to compete in Turbo Duels!

Darian: (he grins a little) That is exactly why I increased my Speed, so I can play this next card!

Vivian: (seeming a little confused) Huh? What card?

Darian: (he picks a card from his hand) This one, the Speed Spell card, Level Discharge! (it appears face-up, activating) This Speed Spell can only be activated when I have 5 or more Speed Counters, and by discarding Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera from my hand (he slides it into his graveyard) I can Special Summon two monsters from my deck whose levels total that of my Gadjiltron Chimera! (he thrusts his hand forward) So appear now, Ancient Gear Solider and Ancient Gear!

Two blue rings appear either side of Darian's Duel Runner, then out of both of them, emerges Ancient Gear Solider and Ancient Gear onto the field. Their stats are then shown.

Vivian: So what's the point of that move? Has the little boy given up?

Darian: I don't give up that easy, as I'm about to show you (he picks a card from his hand) Because next, I'm summoning Ancient Gear Hawk! (he places the card onto his duel disk)

A blue ring appears in front of Darian's Duel Runner, then from within it, emerges Ancient Gear Hawk onto the field itself. It's stats are then shown.

[Ancient Gear Hawk/Lv2/EARTH/ATK 300 - DEF 300/Machine-Tuner]

Vivian: (her eyes open widen a little) A Tuner monster?

Darian: (smiles a little) Now it's time for my monsters to have an upgrade of their own! (he thrusts his hand forward) I'll be tuning my level two Ancient Gear and my level four Ancient Gear Solider with my level two Tuner monster, Ancient Gear Hawk!

Ancient Gear Hawk then specials it's rusty, mechanical wings outwards before dissolving into two glowing stars before they convert into two green rings, flying up into the air.

Darian: Rusted mechanisms of ancient's past

Ancient Gear Solider and Ancient Gear then lift up into the air in between the two green rings, as their bodies begin to dissolve, leaving only the outlines of their bodies and the six stars in between the outlines remaining.

Darian: Allow future's technology to restore upon you your once former glory!

The outlines of both monsters disperse, leaving only the stars left. Then the stars line up into a single line, before a white line connects up all the stars before expanding outwards, engulfing the two green rings completely.

Darian: SYNCHRO SUMMON! (he thrusts his hand forward once more) Let's go, Titanium Golem!

The beam of light disperses, revealing a monster similar to Ancient Gear Golem, but with a body made of Titanium with all its original parts and two green eyes, on the field. It's stats are then shown.

[Titanium Golem/Lv8/EARTH/ATK 3200 - DEF 1800/Machine-Synchro-Effect]

Vivian: Titanium Golem?! How on earth did you get a one of a kind card like that?

Darian: (he begins to smile some more) I was given it by someone very close to me.

Vivian: (she smirks a little) I suppose it doesn't matter anyways, since it's unlikely you'll win this duel!

Darian: (he continues to smile) We'll see about that Vivian! (he points towards Vivian's side of the field) Alright Titanium Golem, attack her Sapphire Queen with Titanium Fist!

Titanium Golem's eyes begin to glow brightly before it pulls back it's first, it then thrusts it forward towards Vivian's Sapphire Queen, striking it with much ease and destroying it in a matter of moments.

Vivian: (lowers her hand a little) Argh!

[Vivian (SPC - 3) 3200 (- 800) - 2500/(SPC - 6) Darian]

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand forward) Now I'm activate the ability of my Sapphire Queen! (a projection of the card appears onto the field) Now whenever Sapphire Queen is destroyed by battle, by removing one ''Sapphire'' monster in my graveyard from play, like my Sapphire Guardian (a card ejects from her graveyard) I can resurrect my Sapphire Queen!

The card projection of Sapphire Queen suddenly turns into a huge Sapphire. It then cracks across the surface before shattering completely, returning it to the field. It's stats are changed due to one less ''Sapphire'' monster in the graveyard.

[Sapphire Queen/Lv9/WATER/ATK 1600 (- 800) - DEF 1600 (- 800)/Spellcaster-Synchro-Effect)

Vivian: (she smirks some more) I'm afraid you are going to have to do better than that if you want to get rid of my Queen, little boy!

Darian: (he gives off a confident smile) Don't think that the battle has ended yet, Vivian.

Vivian: (seeming confused) What's that supposed to mean?

Darian: (he thrusts his hand to the right) Because I'm activating the effect of my Titanium Golem! So by removing him  along with an ''Ancient Gear'' in graveyard from play, I can Special Summon one ''Ancient Gear'' in my graveyard to my side of the field, ignoring the summoning conditions!

Vivian: (her eyes widen quite a bit) What?!

Darian: So along with Titanium Golem, I'll remove from play my Ancient Gear! (a card ejects from his graveyard, then Titanium Golem evaporates from the field) Now rise up, Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera!

A blue ring appears onto the left hand side of Darian's Duel Runner, then Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera emerges from within it onto his side of the field. It's stats are then shown.

[Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera/Lv6/EARTH/ATK 2300 - DEF 1300/Machine-Effect]

Darian: (he thrusts his hand forward) Now my Gadjiltron Chimera will attack your Sapphire Queen! Two Ton Pounce!

Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera then runs up towards Sapphire Queen, before jumping up into the air slightly. It then comes down and slams hard onto Vivian's monster, destroying it with ease, damaging Vivian's life points a bit more.

[Vivian (SPC - 3) 2500 (- 700) - 2500/(SPC - 6) Darian]

Vivian: (gritting her teeth a little) Damn you! I activate the effect of Sapphire Queen once more! (a card ejects from her graveyard) So by removing my Sapphire Samurai from play, Sapphire Queen is reborn once again!

A huge sapphire appears onto the field once more, then it's hatters, returning Sapphire Queen back to the field. It's stats are then changed again.

Darian: With that, I end my turn there.

Vivian: (seeming pretty annoyed) Argh! My turn, draw! (she draws one card from her deck)

[Vivian (SPC - 4) 2500 - 2500/(SPC - 7) Darian]

Vivian: (she holds her drawn card in her hand) First things first, I'll be activating the ability of my Sapphire Queen! Which when I discard a ''Sapphire monster from my hand, I can activate! (she places the card in her hand into her graveyard) So now your monster loses 700 attack points until the end phase!

Darian: (his eyes widen just a tad) What?!

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand to the right) Now Sapphire Queen, reduce his feeble monster down to size with Arctic Wind!

Sapphire Queen then places both her palms towards Darian's monster, creating an enchantment in between her hands, before firing the spell at ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera and freezing up some of parts up, reducing its attack points.

[Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera/Lv6/EARTH/ATK 1600 (- 700) - DEF 1300/Machine-Effect]

Vivian: (she smirks slightly) Now the attack points of my Sapphire Queen increases once more!

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand forward) Now I activate my face down card, the continuous trap card, Jewel Excavation! (it flips face-up, activating) Thanks to this, if a card is discarded due to the effect of a ''Sapphire'' monster card, I can select one ''Sapphire'' monster in my deck and send it to my graveyard (a card ejects from her deck, she then pulls it out) So I'll choose my Sapphire Dragon! (she deposits it into her graveyard) Now Sapphire Queen gains another power boost!

Vivian: (she continues to smirk) Now it's time to end these silly games! (she thrusts her hand to the right) Sapphire Queen, attack his relic with Shimmering Shard!

Sapphire Queen places both her palms forward before creating icicles made of sapphire in front of herself. She then pushes her palms forward slightly in order to fire the icicle shaped sapphire towards Darian's monster, destroying it within a few strikes, causing more damage to Darian's life points.

Darian: (closing his right eye) Argh!

[Vivian (SPC - 3) 2500 - (- 800)  1700/(SPC - 6) Darian]

Vivian: And do not think that is all the damage you'll receive, as now my Sapphire Glacier trap card activates! So now you'll take additional damage equal to half of your monster's attack points!

Suddenly, small shards of sapphire fly towards Darian, inflicting even more damage to his life points.

Darian: (gritting his teeth a little as his right eye is closed) Aarrgghh!

[Vivian (SPC - 3) 2500 - (- 1150)  550/(SPC - 6) Darian]

Vivian: (smirking some more) Looks like you have the same skill as other duelists, all talk, no strategy! (she picks a card from her hand) I now activate the effect of ''Speed World 2''! So by removing four Speed Counters, you take 800 points of damage by revealing a ''Speed Spell'' in my hand! (she reveals the card in her hand to Darian) And my Speed Spell - Summon Speeder will be the one I reveal! (she does a quick 180 degree turn, to face Darian) Now you lose!

The lights on Vivian's Duel Runner then light up brightly, before firing a beam of light towards Darian, nearly contacting him to end the duel.

[Vivian (SPC - 0 (- 4) 2500 - 550/(SPC - 6) Darian]

Darian: (he thrusts his hand forward) Not so fast, I activate the trap card, Desperado Trigger! (it flips face-up, activating) When I have less than 1000 life points and I would take effect damage, that damage is negated!
A barrier appears in front of Darian's Duel Runner, deflecting the damage away.

Darian: Then also due to this card's effect, I can Special Summon one monster from my graveyard that has less attack points than the damage I would have taken! (a card ejects from his graveyard) So I'll revive my Ancient Gear Hawk! (he pulls the card out and places it onto his duel disk)

A blue ring appears in front of Darian's Duel Runner, then Ancient Gear Hawk emerges from within it back onto the field.

Vivian: (looking very annoyed) Argh! How dare you use a desperate, weak card like that! I end my turn!

Darian: It's my move then! (he draws one card from his deck)

[Vivian (SPC - 1) 2500 - 550/(SPC - Eight)Darian]

Darian: (we enter his thoughts, as he looks at his drawn card) If I have to stay in this, I need something good from this card (we exit his thoughts, as he slides his drawn card into his duel disk) I activate the Speed Spell card, Angel Baton (it appears face-up, activating) Now when I have two or more Speed Counters, I can draw two cards but then I have to send one to the graveyard! (he draws two cards from his deck, he then smiles a little before discarding the card in his hand to the graveyard) Now I'll sacrifice my Ancient Gear Hawk to summon out my Ancient Gear Beast! (he slams the card onto his duel disk)

Ancient Gear Hawk's body then compresses into a rainbow colored ring, before Ancient Gear Beast emerges from within it, onto the field. It's stats are then shown.

Vivian: (chuckling lightly) Do you really think that monster is any match for my Sapphire Queen?! I don't think so!

Darian: (he smiles slightly) Not right now it isn't, but that's about to change, Vivian.

Vivian: (seeming a little confused) What's that supposed to mean?

Darian: (he holds his last remaining card in his hand) This is what I mean Vivian! (he slides the card into his duel disk) I activate the Speed Spell - Speed Energy card! (it flips face-up activating) Now for every Speed Counter I have, my Ancient Gear Beast gains an additional 200 attack points, and since I have eight Speed Counters, that means it's attack boost is now 1600 until the end phase!

[Ancient Gear Beast/Lv6/EARTH/ATK 3600 (+ 1600) - DEF 2000/Machine-Effect]

Darian: (he thrusts his hand forward) Now go Ancient Gear Beast, attack her Sapphire Queen with Mecha Ravage!

Ancient Gear Beast then rushes forward towards Vivian's side of the field, then jumps up slightly before running it's claws into Sapphire Queen, destroying it in a matter of moments.

Darian: (smiling proudly) Just a shame my Beast's ability negates any monster abilities when it destroys that monster in battle.
Vivian: (gritting her teeth) Don't get so pleased with yourself boy! That setback won't save you in this duel! It's my turn now! (she draws one card from her deck)

[Vivian (SPC - 2) 1300 - 550/(SPC - 9) Darian]

Vivian: (she looks at her drawn card for a second) From my hand, I summon out my Sapphire Mage in attack mode! (she places the card onto her duel disk)

A blue ring appears a side of Vivian's Duel Runner, then a female teenager with a short, frilly white dress, white leather boots, short sapphire blue hair and sapphire eyes emerges onto the field. It's stats are then shown.

[Sapphire Mage/Lv3/WATER/ATK 800 - DEF 200/Spellcaster-Effect]

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand forward) Next, I'll activate the ability of my Sapphire Dragon in my graveyard! (a projection of the card appears in front of her Duel Runner) By sending the top three cards of my deck to the graveyard (she picks up the top three cards of her deck and deposits them into her graveyard) I can Special Summon him from my graveyard! (the card ejects from her graveyard, she then picks it up) Now rise up my beast! (she slams the card onto her duel disk)

Another blue ring appears a side of Vivian's Duel Runner, then a medium sized sapphire blue dragon with wings and golden eyes emerges onto the field. It's stats are then shown.

[Sapphire Dragon/Lv3/WATER/ATK 1500 - DEF 300/Dragon-Tuner]

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand to the right) Next I'll be tuning my level three Sapphire Mage with my level three Tuner, Sapphire Dragon!
Sapphire Dragon then let's out a loud, fearsome roar before it's body disintegrates into nothing, leaving behind only three glowing stars, which then convert into three green rings.

Vivian: Glistening jewels of the sea and skies.

Sapphire Mage then jumps up into the air in between the green rings as it's body dissolves, leaving it's body outline and three glowing stars inside the outlines left.

Vivian: Reveal thy beauty beyond this light, and shine upon this night!

The body outline of Sapphire Mage then disappears completely, allowing the three glowing stars to line up correctly. A white line passes through them, then it expands outwards, engulfing the green rings completely.

Vivian: SYNCHRO SUMMON! (she holds the card in her hand) Behold royalty (she places the card onto her duel disk) Sapphire Princess!

Once the bright light dissipates, a young female around 18 with sapphire blue eyes and sapphire blue hair wearing a white short royal dress, holding a white staff with a sapphire on the top emerges onto the field. It's stats are then shown.

[Sapphire Princess/Lv6/WATER/ATK ? - DEF ?/Spellcaster-Synchro-Effect]

Darian: (his eyes widen just a tad) Another Sapphire Synchro monster?!

Vivian: Like I told you little man, when I play a Tuner monster, I always do a Synchro Summoning. (she thrusts her hand to the right) Now Sapphire Princess gains 400 attack points for every ''Sapphire'' monster in my graveyard, so since I have four plus the two sent to the graveyard via Sapphire Dragon's effect, that puts her attack points at 2400!

Darian: (his eyes widen even more) What?!

[Sapphire Princess/Lv6/WATER/ATK 2400 (+ 2400) - DEF 2400 (+ 2400)/Spellcaster-Synchro-Effect]

Vivian: (she thrusts her hand forward) Now go, attack his pile of scrap with Winter's Kiss!

All of a sudden, Sapphire Princess places the sapphire jewel on her staff upon her lips, then she moves it off them and points the jewel towards Darian's monster. Three white rings then rotate around the jewels before firing a powerful blizzard at Ancient Gear Beast, freezing up its parts and eventually destroying it. A part of the blizzard then comes into contact with Darian, damaging his life points.

Darian: (lowering his head a little) Ahhh!

[Vivian (SPC - 2) 1300 - (- 400) 150/(SPC - 9) Darian]

Vivian: (chucking a little) Look at you, you never seem to plan ahead, little boy! Now I have you where I want you, you have no chance of defending your life points, and once it reaches my next turn, I'll have four Speed Counters (she smirks quite pleasantly) Which means you'll take 800 points, whether you summon a monster or not!

Darian: Nothing is written in stone Vivian, a plan can change on a single card.

Vivian: I very much doubt it! The chances of drawing a game changer are slim to none!

Darian: We'll see about that Vivian! It's my draw! (he draws one card from his deck)

[Vivian (SPC - 3) 1300 - 150/(SPC - 10) Darian]

Darian: (he looks at his drawn card, then gives off a pleased smile) Looks like you were wrong about the odds of a game changer, Vivian.

Vivian: What?!

Darian: (he holds the card in his hand)I activate the Speed Spell - Recycle Fusion! (he slides the card into his duel disk, it then appears face-up, activating) Now since I have more than 8 Speed Counters, I can use this card to remove monster listed on a Machine-Type Fusion monster from play and summon the Fusion monster from my extra deck! (three cards eject from his graveyard) So I'll remove Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Chimera, Ancient Gear Beast and Ancient Gear Golem from play to summon out my ultimate fusion monster! (he places the card onto his duel disk) Rise forth, Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem!

A huge blue ring appears on the right of Darian's Duel Runner, then Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem emerges onto his field. It's stats are then shown.

[Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem/Lv10/EARTH/ATK 4400 - DEF 3400/Machine-Fusion-Effect]

Vivian: (her eyes widen quite a bit) That's impossible!

Darian: It's very possible Vivian, especially when you believe in your own deck! (he thrusts his hand forward) Now Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem, attack Sapphire Princess with Ultimate Mechanized Melee!

The eyes on Ultimate Ancient Gear Golem then flash before it's gears begin to rotate, it then pulls back its massive arm before galloping towards Sapphire Princess. As soon as it's in position, it thrusts it's arm towards Vivian's monster, striking it hard and destroying it in a matter of moments. The damage is then inflicted to Vivian, ending the duel.

Vivian: (closes her eyes) Ahhhh!!

[Vivian (SPC - 3) 0 (- 2000) - 150/(SPC - 10) Darian]

As the duel ends, a red X appears onto Vivian's Duel Runner display before panels on the top and side open up and let out compressed air, slowing her Duel Runner down to a steady stop. Darian then slows down behind Vivian, also coming to a steady stop, he then holds the side of his helmet and takes it off, showing his face properly.

Darian: (smiling a little) Looks like I've got you to stop in the end then, Vivian.

Vivian then removes her helmet, revealing her long, beautiful sapphire blue hair and her beautiful face to Darian. A little drop of gleaming sweat drops the tip of her fringe as Darian looks at Vivian even more.

Vivian: (begins to stare at Darian) You may have got me to stop, but it doesn't mean that I'll stay still for long! You've disgraced my dueling skills!

Darian: Whoa, it's only a duel you know, no need to take it too seriously.

Vivian: (she places her helmet back on) I always take it seriously, it's my life after all! (she then restarts her Duel Runner) So the next time we meet, you best prepare for your defeat!

Vivian then revs up her Duel Runner and then moves off in a sudden burst of speed towards the exit of the Duel Course, leaving Darian behind on his own. Darian then decides to put his helmet back on and then steadily heads the exit of the Duel Course himself. After exciting the Duel Course, Darian heads towards Daedalus Bridge to cross into Satellite. We enter Darian's thoughts as he looks into the distance.

Darian: (smiling some more) Won't be long now guys, I'm almost home. (we then exit his thoughts)
