Our attention now goes back five days before Darian's eventful arrival back into New Domino City, to a place where young people go for studies of strategy and dueling, a place called Duel Academy. Within the complex of Duel Academy, our view fixes onto a young student, one known as Gwendolyn McAllister, the younger sister of Darian McAllister with her age at 18 years. She has short wavy brunette hair halfway down her neck with a golden hair band in it, blue shining eyes with a slim and cute body at the height of five foot, 4 inches tall and she is currently wearing her Red Duel Academy Uniform. Gwendolyn is sat on one of the benches outside the building, looking at her deck with some Speed Spells resting on the bench next to her, figuring out which Speed Spell cards would work with her deck. Two other students approach her, noticing that Gwendolyn was making a Turbo Dueling deck for herself.

Yui: (seeming very happy) Hiya Gwen! Still aiming for the Turbo Duel Exams?

Gwen: (she looks up at Yui and begins to smile) Of course I am Yui, I've been up for it for three years now.

Haruka: (placing her right hand upon her hip) Don't you think becoming a Pro Turbo Duelist will be close to impossible?

Gwen: (shaking her head a little) It may be a big milestone Haruka, but it's not hard to accomplish either.

Haruka: (rolls her eyes a little) If you say so Gwen.

Gwen: Besides, the reason I want to become a Turbo Duelist is so I can enter the WRGP.

Yui: (closes her eyes as she smiles) With your brother, right?

Gwen: (she nods her head) Yep, that's the plan Yui.

Haruka: (seeming a little confused) But I thought you needed a team of three to have the maximum life points needed for no disadvantages?

Gwen: (continuing to smile) We already have that issue covered Haruka.

Yui: (giggles a little) Don't tell me you managed to get Tetsuya on your team?

Gwen: (blushing a little) No no, he's too busy at Sector Security to join any sort of team.

Yui: Hehe, I'm only messing with you Gwen, you've got Drake for the team, right?

Gwen: Yep, that's right.

Haruka: Did you have to choose that womanizer for your team? Wasn't there another option?

Gwen: (she giggles a little) He maybe a bit of a womanizer, but he's an incredible duelist nonetheless.

Haruka: I know he's an incredible duelist, I've seen it first hand, but when it comes to girls, he takes it a little too far at times.

Gwen: That's just how he is Haruka, I'm afraid.

Yui: Only reason why Haruka's concerned, is because she fancies Drake a little (she giggles some more)

Haruka: (her eyes widen as she blushes a little) No I do not!

Yui: (continues to giggle) That isn't what your face is saying.

Yui and Gwen start to laugh together as Haruka turns her head away while continuing to blush. Haruka then notices someone from afar and then turns to look back at Yui and Gwen.

Haruka: (sighs a little) Great, the little miss self alleged Duel Queen is coming this way.

Gwen: Her again?

Haruka: (nods her head) Yep, the one and only.

Yui: (sighs a little) She really gets under my skin since she takes everything so seriously.

As Yui, Gwen and Haruka remain in one place; the self alleged Duel Queen suddenly approaches them, brushing her hand through her hair, revealing a smug smirk to them three.

Naomi: (chuckles lightly) Well well, if it isn't the three stooges (placing the back of her hand near her mouth) Is the little Gweny still aiming for her little dream? (she chuckles a little more) Or has that dream expired since you haven't got what it takes? (she chuckles louder)

Gwen: (she looks up at Naomi) Oh that dream will be a reality soon enough, Naomi. (she smiles proudly) You can count on that.

Naomi: Ha! I highly doubt that considering you come from such a poor background.

Yui: (not looking very pleased) That was uncalled for, Naomi! Gwen's brother runs a very successful Duel Runner repair shop!

Naomi: (chuckles a little more) A sandwich shop compared to my father's business manufacturing futuristic Duel Runners for the public. (closes her eyes and chuckles a tad more) I'm a princess of multi-millionaire company while you are earning scraps of food! (she bursts into laughter)

All of a sudden, Gwen immediately stands up and stares at Naomi with much disgust. She then points at Naomi as she shows a serious look, Naomi then stops laughing.

Gwen: You always talk down at us, but let's see how you do when a challenge is set upon you, Naomi!

Naomi: (she begins to chuckle once again) Are you issuing a challenge against me? The queen of duels?

Gwen: Yes I am Naomi, or are you afraid of losing your title?

Naomi: Ha! Like someone such as you could manage that! You are on, little Gweny.
As Naomi and Gwen stare off with each other, the scene begins to fade out.

Episode 3 / Duel Academy - Gwen's Rise To Fame Part 1

After a few seconds, the scene fades back in, but now inside of Duel Academy's Duel Stadium where Gwen and Naomi are preparing their Duel disks and Decks. A crowd begins to gather in the stands after hearing about the challenge; among the crowd are Yui and Haruka as well.

Yui: (looking around) Oh wow, there's so many people here to watch this duel!

Haruka: (closes her eyes) Probably because they've heard that Naomi Hasegawa was dueling. (she then opens up her eyes) But hopefully not to see her win.

Yui: (nods her head) Yeah, I hope so too Haruka.

Our view then moves closer to the dueling field, noticing that Gwen's and Naomi's Duel Disks were now on their arms. Naomi slides her deck into her duel disk while Gwen stares at her deck.

Gwen: (she closes her eyes as we enter her thoughts) I just hope that card Darian sent me during his travels will help me during this duel. (we exit her thoughts)

Naomi: Hurry up little Gweny, I'm not getting any younger.

Gwen: (she places her deck into her duel disk) Alright, let's do this Naomi!

Both Gwen and Naomi then activate their duel disks, which then convert into dueling mode. They both draw their first five cards and place them into their left hands.

Gwen & Naomi: Let's duel!

[Gwen/4000 - 4000/Naomi]

Naomi: (she chuckles a little) Royalty first Gweny! I draw! (she draws one card from her deck) I'll place one monster face down in defense mode. (she places the card onto her duel disk)

A card appears face down, sideways in Naomi's monster card zone.

Naomi: (she picks two cards from her hand) Then I'll place two cards face down (she slides them into her duel disk) and finish up there.

Two cards appear face down onto Naomi's side of the field.

Naomi: Your turn Gweny.

Gwen: (she prepares to draw a card from her deck) Alrighty then, I draw! (she draws one card from her deck) And I'll play this card (she places it onto her duel disk) Genex Searcher in attack mode!

A blue ring appears on the ground in front of Gwen, then Genex Searcher emerges onto her side of the field. Its stats are then shown.

Gwen: (she picks another card from her hand) Next, I activate the continuous Spell Card, Machine Assembly Line (she places it into her duel disk, it then appears face-up, activating) Due to this card, all Machine-Type monsters on the field gain an additional 200 attack points.

[Genex Searcher/Lv4/EARTH/ATK 1800 (+ 200) - DEF 400/Machine-Effect]

Gwen: (she points towards Naomi's field) Genex Searcher, attack his face down monster with Search Laser!

Genex Searcher's red eye begins to glow brightly before shooting out a laser, which strikes the face down monster, cutting it in half which reveals a faded projection of the monster before shattering completely.

Naomi: (placing the back of her hand near her mouth, as she laughs lightly) Oh what a poor decision you did Gweny (her graveyard begins to glow) especially since my face down monster was Naturia Cherries! (she points at her field) And my cherries love to grow, which means two more sprout up from my deck!

Two blue rings appear on the ground in front of Naomi, then two Naturia Cherries emerge onto the field in defense position. They both then turn pale blue before their stats are shown.

[Naturia Cherries/Lv1/EARTH/ATK 200 - DEF 200/Plant-Tuner] x2

Naomi: (smiling) Thank you for assisting the Duel Queen, dear Gweny. (she laughs lightly)

Gwen: (she picks another card from her hand) I'll put this card face down (she slides it into duel disk) and end my turn.

A card appears face down behind Genex Searcher, on Gwen's side of the field. Our view then moves to the crowd once more.

Yui: (closes her eyes) Oooo, that Naomi is so irritating!

Haruka: (she nods her head) I know, she loves rubbing it in when she duels someone, but that won't throw Gwen off her game.

Yui: (she opens up her eyes and looks towards the field) I hope your right, Haruka.

Our attention now returns back to the dueling field, where Naomi is about to take her next turn.

Naomi: (smiling pleasantly) It's now the Queen's turn, I draw! (she draws one card from her deck) A Queen can't have too many subjects, which is why I'm summoning another monster (she smiles before placing her drawn card onto her duel disk) Naturia Mantis, rise up in attack mode!

A blue ring appears on the ground in front of Naomi, then Naturia Mantis emerges from within it, onto the field. Its stats are then shown.

Naomi: (she thrusts her right hand forward as she continues to smile) Now it's time for my subjects to entertain their Queen with a little trick: A Synchro Summoning! (she chuckles lightly) I tune my Level 4 Naturia Mantis, with my Level 1 Tuner monster: Naturia Cherries!

Naturia Cherries then blinks before disintegrating into nothing, leaving behind one glowing star before it converts into one green ring.

Naomi: When the heavens inter twine, bestowing nature to flourish.

The green ring then goes over the top of Naturia Mantis before overlapping the monster, dissolving the monster until only the outline and four glowing stars are left in view.

Naomi: The rains pour down and revitalize beauty incarnate!

The outline of Naturia Mantis then dissolves into nothing, leaving the four glowing stars behind to line up properly. A thin white line then connects the stars, before expanding into a huge beam of white light, engulfing the green ring completely.

Naomi: SYNCHRO SUMMON! (she holds the card in her hand) Roar my beautiful flower! (she slams the card onto her duel disk) Naturia Beast!

The beam of light then disperses before revealing Naturia Beast on Naomi's side of the field. It gives out a fearful roar before its stats are revealed.

[Naturia Beast/Lv5/EARTH/ATK 2200 - DEF 1700/Beast-Synchro-Effect]

Our view then moves over to the crowd where Haruka and Yui are sat.

Yui: (her eyes open wide) Oh no! What that card out, Gwen's Spell Cards are sealed!

Haruka: (nods her head) Ahuh, as long as that remains out, all Naomi needs to do is send the top two cards of her deck to negate the activation of a Spell Card and destroy it.

Yui: That's really bad!

Our attention now returns back to the dueling field where Naomi continues her turn.

Naomi: (placing the back of her right hand near her mouth, as she laughs out lightly) Looks like I've sealed a way your precious Spell Cards, little Gweny! But it is the Queen's orders. (she laughs out a little louder)

Gwen: (looking at Naomi with confident look upon her face) Duelists rely on more than just Spell Cards, Naomi.

Naomi: (she looks at Gwen with a little grin on her face) Oh, I do realize that Gweny, that's I'm going to play this card! (she thrusts her hand forward) The trap card, Stag Beetle's Gift! (it flips face-up, activating) Now since I just Synchro Summoned a ''Naturia'' Synchro monster, I can now grow a ''Naturia'' non-Tuner monster from my graveyard onto the field! (a card ejects from the graveyard) Arise for your queen once again, my Naturia Mantis!

A blue ring appears in front of Naomi, then Naturia Mantis emerges once again onto her side of the field.

[Naturia Mantis/Lv4/EARTH/ATK 1700 - DEF 1500/Insect-Effect]

Naomi: (still laughing lightly) But unfortunately, these subjects of mine won't be here for long! (she points at her own field) As I activate the Trap Card, Level Changer! (it flips face-up, activating) Now since I control a Tuner monster and a non-Tuner monster, I can increase the level of my non-Tuner by up to two! (she points a tone of her monsters) So now I'll increase the level of Naturia Mantis by 1!

[Naturia Mantis/Lv5 (+ 1)/EARTH/ATK 1700 - DEF 1500/Insect-Effect]

Naomi: (she thrusts her hand forward once more) Now I'll tune my Level 5 Naturia Mantis, with my Level 1 Tuner monster: Naturia Cherries!

Naturia Cherries then blinks before dissolving into nothing, leaving behind only one glowing star, which then converts into one green ring.

Naomi: When the heavens inter twine, bestowing nature to flourish.

The green ring then goes over the top of Naturia Mantis before overlapping the monster, dissolving the monster until only the outline and five glowing stars are left in view.

Naomi: The guardian blooms from respite, defending the innocent's home!

The outline of Naturia Mantis then dissolves into nothing, leaving the five glowing stars behind to line up properly. A thin white line then connects the stars, before expanding into a huge beam of white light, engulfing the green ring completely.

Naomi: SYNCHRO SUMMON! (she holds the card in her hand) Roar my deity of the forest! (she slams the card onto her duel disk) Naturia Barkion!
The beam of light then disperses before revealing Naturia Barkion on Naomi's side of the field. It gives out a dragonic roar before its stats are revealed.

[Naturia Barkion/Lv6/EARTH/ATK 2500 - DEF 1800/Dragon-Synchro-Effect]

Our attention returns once again to the stands, where Yui and Haruka are sat.

Yui: (looking shocked) What?! Now she has two Synchro monsters?!

Haruka: (nods her head) The worst news is that Naturia Barkion is similar to Naturia Beast, but it removes cards in the graveyard from play to negate Trap cards and destroy them.

Yui: (she looks at Haruka) Now Gwen can't use Trap cards either?! That's even worse!

Haruka: (she closes her eyes) With Gwen's deck now sealed by two thirds, she needs to bring out a monster that can take out at least one of them. (she opens up her eyes) Only problem is, the last time I checked, Gwen's strongest monster was Genex Ally Axel, and that's a Level 8 Synchro monster.

Yui: (she looks towards the field) That's even worse news to hear.

Our attention now returns back to the dueling field, where we see Naomi placing the back of her right hand near her mouth as she continues to laugh.

Naomi: Hohhohhohhoh, now only one third of your deck is left to be used, dear Gweny. (she points at Gwen) Now it's time to take out your only monster, by order of the Queen! Naturia Barkion, attack that pitiful monster with Blossom Blaze!

Naturia Barkion lets out a mighty roar before letting loose a pink flame surrounded by Cherry Blossoms towards Gwen's field. The attack strikes Genex Searcher, destroying it seconds after contact, inflicting damage to Gwen's life points.

Gwen: (raising her arms in front of herself) Ergh!

[Gwen/3300 (- 700) - 4000/Naomi]

Gwen: (lowers her arms) Now the effects of Genex Searcher and Machine Assembly Line activate! When a Machine-Type monster is destroyed, I can place two ''Junk Counters'' on this card! (Two pieces of random junk fall out of the card onto the field in front of it) And due to Genex Searcher, when it's destroyed in battle and sent to the graveyard, I can Special Summon a ''Genex'' monster from my deck to the field in attack position! (a card ejects from her deck, she then pulls it out of her deck) So I'll summon Genex Controller! (she places the card onto her duel disk)

A blue ring then appears on the ground in front of Gwen, then Genex Controller emerges onto her side of the field. Its stats are then shown, with the power increase due to Machine Assembly Line.

[Genex Controller/Lv3/DARK/ATK 1600 (+ 200) - DEF 1200/Machine-Tuner]

Naomi: Ha! Another meaningless toy you have there! (she points towards Gwen's field) Now my dear loyal subject Naturia Beast, please get rid of that thing with Woodland Pounce!

Naturia Beast then runs up towards Gwen's side of the field, before jumping up into the air slightly and then landing it's front paws on Genex Controller, destroying it immediately and inflicting more damage to Gwen's life points.

Gwen: (raising her arms up once again) Argh!

[Gwen/2700 (- 600) - 4000/Naomi]

Gwen: (lowers her arms again) Since Genex Controller was a Machine-Type monster, I gain another couple of ''Junk Counters'' for my Spell Card!

Two more pieces of random junk fall out of the Machine Assembly Line onto the ground in front of it.

Naomi: (placing the back of her right hand near her mouth, as she laughs lightly) Hohhohhoh, your deck is already inferior to the Queen's deck, to be precise: Mine! Hohhohhoh.

Gwen: (staring at Naomi a little) Don't be so over confident Naomi, the duel's only just started!

Naomi: Only thing is, my victory is all but certain. (she points towards Gwen) No card you have will stop me!

Gwen: We'll see about that, it's my turn! (she draws one card from her deck, she then looks at her drawn card and smiles a bit) Looks like your monsters aren't as invincible as you thought, Naomi.

Naomi: (she laughs a little) Such a bluff, little Gweny, my cards are unbeatable!

Gwen: (she remains confident) It's not a bluff Naomi, and I'll show you why (she selects another card from her hand) I now summon from my hand, Genex Worker in attack mode! (she places the card onto her duel disk)

A blue ring appears on the ground in front of Gwen, then Genex Worker emerges from within it, onto the field. Its stats are then shown.

[Genex Worker/Lv3/WIND/ATK 1200 - DEF 1200/Machine-Effect]

Naomi: (smiling confidently) Ha! As if that pile of scrap is enough to take on my monsters!

Gwen: (she remains confident still) It's not the attack power you should be concentrating on, it's the ability you should be worried about, Naomi.

Naomi: (she raises her right eyebrow a little) What are you on about?

Gwen: (she continues to hold the drawn card in her right hand) What I'm on about is that I can use the ability of my Genex Worker to tribute himself in order to Special Summon a ''Genex'' monster from my hand, directly to the field!

Naomi: That's pointless! Your Genex deck contains no powerful non-Synchro monsters!

Gwen: (she then grins a little) Don't be so sure about that, Naomi.
Genex Worker then evaporates from the field, as its ability is activated.

Gwen: (she places the card onto her duel disk) let's go, Genex Solar!

Another blue ring then appears in front of Gwen, then Genex Solar emerges from within it, onto the field. Its stats are then revealed.

[Genex Solar/Lv7/LIGHT/ATK 2500 - DEF 1500/Machine-Effect]

Naomi: (seeming shocked) What?!

Our attention returns back over to the stands, where Yui and Haruka are also left in shock.

Yui: Wait a minute, when did Gwen get that card in her deck?

Haruka: I don't know, but that card could have been from Darian, her brother.

Yui: (nods her head) True, ever since his travels, Gwen has received all sorts of Genex cards from him.

Haruka: (smiles a little) Fortunately, it came at the right time, when it did.

Yui: (nods her head again) Yep, it certainly is.

Our attention then returns once more to the dueling field, where Gwen continues her turn.

Gwen: (she continues to smile) Looks like my Genex Solar has left you in shock, Naomi.

Naomi: (gritting her teeth a little) When did you get such a rare card in that pathetic deck of yours?!

Gwen: My brother sent me it during his travels (she thrusts her hand to the right) but enough of that, especially once Machine Assembly Line gives Genex Solar a little extra power boost!

[Genex Solar/Lv7/LIGHT/ATK 2700 (+ 200) - DEF 1500/Machine-Effect]

Naomi: Impossible!

Gwen: Oh, it's quite possible! (she thrusts her hand forward) Now Genex Solar, attack her Naturia Barkion with Solar Impact!

The after burners on Genex Solar engage, allowing it to take flight up into the air. Once at a high enough altitude, it's after burners fire up again as it dives back down while twirling a little bit. It then makes contact with Naturia Barkion, and after it passes by, Naturia Barkion explodes, indicting its destruction.

Naomi: (raising her arms in front of herself) Argh!

[Gwen/2700 - (- 200) 3800/Naomi]

Naomi: (lowers her arms a little) How dare you!

Gwen: It's not over yet. (she points towards her field) Because I activate the trap card, Genex Retaliation! (it flips face-up, activating) Now since a ''Genex'' monster destroyed an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the graveyard, I can discard a ''Genex'' monster (she sends a card from her hand to the graveyard) in order for Genex Solar to attack again!

Naomi: (her eyes widen open even more) What?!

Gwen: (she then points at Naomi's field) Alright then Genex Solar, attack her Naturia Beast with Solar Impact!

As Genex Solar remains in the air, it's after burners engage once more so it's able to reach an optimum altitude again. It then engages it's after burners to quickly dive down towards Naomi's monster, before making impact and destroying it after zooming past it back onto Gwen's field.

Naomi: (shielding herself with her arms) Aarrgghh!!

[Gwen/2700 - (- 500) 3300/Naomi]

Gwen: (smiling nicely) And I believe with that, I end my turn.

Naomi: (looking quite annoyed) How dare you humiliate me! The queen of all duels! (she places her index and middle onto her deck) I'll make you pay for that, Gweny! I draw! (she draws one card from her deck) I'll summon out my next subject (she places her drawn card onto her duel disk) my Naturia Dragonfly in attack mode!

A blue ring appears on the ground in front of Naomi, then Naturia Dragonfly emerges from within it, onto the field. Its stats are then shown.

Naomi: Now what makes this subject impressive is that it cannot be destroyed in battle by a monster with 2000 or more attack points (she smirks confidently) but that's not all, as my loyal pet gains an additional 200 attack points for every ''Naturia'' monster in my graveyard (she lifts up her duel disk a little) And I currently have six, so that means my Dragonfly's attack now becomes 2400!

[Naturia Dragonfly/Lv4/EARTH/ATK 2400 (+ 1200) - DEF 400/Insect-Effect]

Naomi: (she picks another card from her hand) I now place one card face down. (she slides it onto her duel disk) And end my turn there.

A card appears face down on Naomi's side of the field, behind Naturia Dragonfly.

Gwen: Alright, then it's my move! (she draws one card from her deck) Alright, time to get rid of your monster! (she picks another card from her hand) I activate the Spell Card, Smashing Ground! (she places it into her duel disk, it then appears face-up, activating) Now this card destroys one monster on your side of the field with the highest defense, but since you only have one monster, that one will be destroyed regardless!

Naomi: (smirks a little) I'm afraid by order of the Queen that shall not. (she points towards her side of the field) I activate the Trap Card, Exterio's Fang! (it flips face-up, activating) Now since I control a face up ''Naturia'' monster and have at least one card in my hand, I'm afraid I can negate and destroy your Spell Card!

A sharp white fang shoots out of the activated Trap Card towards Gwen's Spell Card, striking through hit and destroying it with ease.

Gwen: Darn it!

Naomi: (she picks a card from her hand) Now due to my Trap Card, I must send one card from my hand to the graveyard. (she places the card into her graveyard) It appears your plan was just as futile as challenging me, The Duel Queen! Hohhohhoh!

Gwen: (looking just a little annoyed) Just because you negated my Spell Card, doesn't mean it was futile! (she thrusts her hand forward) Now Genex Solar, attack Naturia Dragonfly with Solar Impact!

The after burners on Genex Solar's back suddenly ignite, thrusting it towards Naomi's side of the field and striking Naturia Dragonfly. The monster is not destroyed via its effect, but the damage is still inflicted towards Naomi's life points.

Naomi: (smirking confidently) Ha! A mere flesh wound will stop the Queen!

[Gwen/2700 - (- 300) 3000/Naomi]

Gwen: With that, I end my turn.

Naomi: (continues to smirk) Then it's time for the Duel Queen to end this duel for you! I draw now! (she draws one card from her deck) I think this card will do very nicely. (she places the card into her duel disk) I activate the Spell Card, Ragweed's Blessing! (it appears face-up, activating) Now if I tribute a loyal subject of mine with ''Naturia'' in its name, I can draw two more cards from my deck! (she points at her side of her field) So be gone Naturia Dragonfly! (it disintegrates from the field) Now I draw two cards. (she draws two cards from her deck, she then looks at one of them and smiles a little) Well well, it appears that my deck has sealed your fate, little Gweny!

Gwen: And what is that supposed to mean, Naomi?

Naomi: (she holds one of the drawn cards in her hand) You'll soon see what I mean Gweny, especially when I play this next card! (she places the card into her duel disk) I play my Miracle Synchro Fusion Spell Card! (it appears face-up, activating) Now by removing monsters in my graveyard from play which includes a Synchro monster listed on a fusion monster's fusion materials, I can Special Summon that Fusion monster from my extra deck! (two cards eject from her graveyard) So by removing Naturia Beast and Naturia Barkion in my graveyard from play, I can bring forth the King of my deck (she holds a card in her hand, before placing it onto her duel disk) my Naturia Exterio in attack mode!

Projections of Naturia Beast and Naturia Barkion appear on the field, before glowing brightly and spinning into a vortex as they fuse into one being, revealing Naturia Exterio in their place, onto Naomi's field. Its stats are then shown.

Gwen: (her eyes widen a bit) Oh no!

Our attention then returns towards the stands, where we see Haruka's face left in shock.

Haruka: This doesn't look good.

Yui: (she looks at Haruka) What's wrong Haruka?

Haruka: The thing that is not good Yui, is that Naturia Exterio has the same abilities of both Naturia Beast and Naturia Barkion.

Yui: (her eyes suddenly widen open) It has what?! (she looks at the field) That's not good at all.

Haruka: (nods her head) I know, but since its Gwen dueling, I'm sure she'll find a way to win.

Yui: (seeming worried) I do hope you're right, Haruka.

Our attention now returns back to the dueling field, where Naomi thrusts her right hand forward.

Naomi: Now my glorious king, attack her pitiful monster with White Fang of Exterio!
Naturia Exterio lets out a mighty loud roar before rushing towards Gwen's side of the field. It then leaps up into the air before dropping down onto Genex Solar and sinking its tough fangs into its body, destroying it in mere seconds.

Gwen: (shielding herself from the damage) No, Genex Solar!

[Gwen/2600 (- 100) - 3000/Naomi]

Naomi: (brushing her right hand through the right hand side of her hair) So much for the rare card your brother sent you, Gweny. (she closes her eyes and grins slightly) It was pointless of you challenging me, the Dueling Queen to a duel! (she thrusts her hand to the right) So just surrender here and now, and save yourself from an embarrassing defeat.

Gwen: (stares at Naomi) This duel isn't over, just because you claim it to be Naomi!

Naomi: (placing the back of her hand near her mouth) Hohhohhoh, it isn't a claim dear Gweny. (she grins softly) Not only is my monster stronger than any monster you've had out, but now you cannot activate Spell Cards, or Trap cards at all! So you have no way to win, Gwendolyn!

Gwen: (continues to stare at Naomi) There's always a way to win this duel, even with the odds against you!

Naomi: (shaking her head a little) Did you get that soppy speech from your brother? How pathetic!

Gwen: (grits her teeth softly) Don't insult my brother's words, Naomi! (she then points at Naomi) Let's end this duel, here and now! And thanks to my Assembly Line Spell Card, it gains another 2 ''Junk Counters'' since you destroyed another Machine-Type monster!

Two pieces of random junk fall out of Gwen's Spell Card, onto the field in front of it.

Gwen: Now it's my turn, draw! (she draws one card from her deck. She then looks at her drawn card, as we enter her thoughts) Nice! This card will do the trick. (we then exit her thoughts, as she points towards her own field) I activate the second effect of my Machine Assembly Line Spell Card! This allows me to Special Summon a Machine-Type monster whose Level is equal to or lower than the number of ‘‘Junk Counters’’ on the card!

The Machine Assembly Line Spell card evaporates from the field along with the six pieces of random junk. A card then ejects from her graveyard.

Gwen: (she picks the card from her graveyard) Return to the field once more (she places the card onto her duel disk) Genex Searcher!

A blue ring then appears on the ground in front of Gwen, then Genex Searcher emerges from within the blue ring, onto the field. Its stats are then shown again.

[Genex Searcher/Lv4/EARTH/ATK 1600 - DEF 400/Machine-Effect]

Naomi: Ha! What do you think that piece of scrap is going to do against my mighty Naturia Exterio? Make it laugh to death?!

Gwen: (she begins to smile confidently) Nothing yet, because my move isn't over yet! (she picks the card she recently drew from her deck, from her hand) Now I summon this card from my hand (she places the card onto her duel disk) R-Genex Magma in attack mode!

Another blue ring appears in front of Gwen, then R-Genex Magma emerges from within it onto the field. Its stats are then shown.

[R-Genex Magma/Lv3/FIRE/ATK 1000 - DEF 200/Pyro-Effect]

Gwen: (she points towards her newly summoned monster) Now I activate the ability of R-Genex Magma! When it is Normal Summoned, I can add a Level 2 or lower ''R-Genex'' monster from my deck to my hand! (a card ejects from her deck, she then pulls it out) And the one I'll choose is my R-Genex Oracle. (she then grins a little) But it won't be in my hand for very long, as its special ability allows me to Special Summon it if it was added to my hand by a card effect! (she places the card onto her duel disk) Let's go R-Genex Oracle!

A blue ring appears on the ground aside of R-Genex Magma, then R-Genex Oracle emerges from within it, onto the field. Its stats are then shown.

[R-Genex Oracle/Lv1/DARK/ATK 300 - DEF 300/Spellcaster-Tuner]

Naomi: (she begins to chuckle a little) What do you expect to do with those weaklings on the field? They stand no chance against the king of my deck!

Gwen: (she continues to look confident) You might want to check again Naomi, R-Genex Oracle is a Tuner monster!

Naomi: (her eyes suddenly widen) What?!

Gwen: (she thrusts her hand forward) Now I tune my Level 4 Genex Searcher, my level 3 R-Genex Magma, with my Level 1 Tuner monster: R-Genex Oracle!

R-Genex Oracle then floats up slightly into the air before disintegrating into nothing, leaving behind a glowing star, which then converts into a green ring above Gwen's field.

Gwen: (placing her right hand on her chest) When the strengths and elements of all merge as one.

R-Genex Magma and Genex Searcher are then surrounded by one green ring, which dissolves their bodies into outlines of their former selves, revealing the stars inside of them.

Gwen: Realize the realm of speed and shift into the next gear!

The outlines then disperse, leaving the 7 stars to line up into one line. A thin white line then connects all of them up before expanding outwards, engulfing the green ring completely.

Gwen: (she then thrusts her right hand up into the air) SYNCHRO SUMMON! (she places the card onto her duel disk) Rev up, Genex Ally Axel!

The huge beam of light then disperses, revealing Genex Ally Axel onto the field. Its stats are then revealed.

[Genex Ally Axel/Lv8/DARK/ATK 2600 - DEF 2000/Machine-Synchro-Effect]

Gwen: Next, I'll activate the ability of my Synchro monster. (she then picks the last card in her hand) By discarding one card in my hand to the graveyard (she places the card into her graveyard) I can now Special Summon one Level 4 or below Machine-Type monster from my graveyard! (a card ejects from her graveyard, she then picks it out) Let's go again, Genex Searcher! (she places the card onto her duel disk)

A blue ring appears on the ground on Gwen's side of the field, then Genex Searcher emerges from within it, onto the field. Its stats are then shown again.

[Genex Searcher/Lv4/EARTH/ATK 1600 - DEF 400/Machine-Effect]

Naomi: Ha! What was the point of that move? Your monsters haven't got enough attack points to take on my strongest card!

Gwen: (she smiles confidently) That's what you think Naomi, especially since Genex Searcher's attack points now double due to the effect of Axel!

[Genex Searcher/Lv4/EARTH/ATK 3200 (+ 1600) - DEF 400/Machine-Effect]

Naomi: (her eyes suddenly widen) What?! 3200 attack points?!

Gwen: (she thrusts her hand forward) Let's end this Naomi! Genex Searcher, attack her Naturia Exterio with Search Laser!

The red eye on Genex Searcher's head suddenly glows brightly before firing a laser towards Naturia Exterio, destroying it almost immediately upon contact.

Naomi: (shielding herself from the damage) Argh!!

[Gwen/2600 - (- 400) 2600/Naomi]

Naomi: (she lowers her arms) This is impossible! There is no way you could beat me!

Gwen: (she continues to smile confidently) I'm afraid your reign is no more Naomi! (she thrusts her hand forward once more) Now Genex Ally Axel, attack her directly with Cyclone Rush!

Genex Ally Axel's wheels then begin to spin uncontrollably fast, before speeding towards Naomi's side of the field. Once near Naomi, it spins around and around, creating a vortex of intense wind, inflicting the final blow to Naomi's life points.

Naomi: (shielding herself from the attack) Aaarrrggghhh!!

[Gwen/2600 - (- 2600) 0/Naomi]

Our attention returns to the stands, where Yui jumps onto her feet with her fist up into the air. She closes her eyes and smiles pleasantly as she does so.

Yui: Alright Gwen! She won, she won!

Haruka: (she grins a little) Well what do you know, she pulled off a spectacular win there.

Yui: That's our Gwen!

The crowd begins to cheer and applause at Gwen's win over Naomi, defeating her with an amazing final blow. The duel holograms then evaporate as both duel disks deactivate.

Gwen: (she begins to walk over to Naomi) That was an amazing duel Naomi, if it wasn't for final draw, I would have probably lost the duel. (she puts her hand out towards Naomi) Hope we get to duel again, and oh, no hard feelings about what was said.

Naomi then slaps Gwen's hand out of the way, she then stares at Gwen's eyes before turning around. She then places her right hand upon her hip, moving her hip slightly to the left.

Naomi: (seeming annoyed) Don't give me that goody two shoes act, Gweny! (she then turns around and points at Gwen) Just because you beat me once, doesn't mean you are now the Duel Queen! (she then turns around again) Next time we cross paths, don't expect any mercy. (she then starts walking off)

Gwen: (she lets out a slight sigh, as we enter her thoughts) Geez, what's her problem? (she then shrugs her shoulders) Oh well, it doesn't matter now anyways. (she looks at her deck, which is still in her duel disk) After all, in three days time, I have my Turbo Dueling Exams to take part in. (she then looks up with a smile on her face) And once I pass it, our dream of winning the WRGP will be that much closer, won't it. (we then exit her thoughts, as she begins to walk towards the stands)

As Gwen walks towards the stands, the scene freezes with a smile upon her face, as it begins to fade out into nothing.
