New members on the forum must be tested before they can be placed in a dorm. Below is the structure that will be used to test players.

Format:
Test Duels will consist of 2 Match Duels. Different Decks between the Matches is allowed and encouraged.

The rules that are used during the two Matches are:

Duels: (2x10 points)
Lost match x-x-x = 0 points
Lost match o-x-x = 3 points
Lost match x-o-x = 5 points
Won match o-x-o = 8 points
Won match o-o-x = 10 points
Won match x-o-o = 10 points

If a player quits during either match, 0 points will be given by default.

Every Duel that ends in a Draw during the Match will be worth 2 points. If the end result of the entire Match is a Draw, 6 points are awarded instead.

In the case of the use of a banned deck/card(s), the testee will be awarded 0 points for that match.

Deck: (40 points)
A testee will also be awarded for his/her deck building skills. The things a tester will consider are:
- Total Deck count (Points will be deducted if the Deck count is higher than 41. This does depend on what kind of Deck the testee is running though)
- Sophistication
- Consistency
- Synergy
- You will be scored highly if your deck is original, creative and consistent.


Performance: (40 Points)
A testee will also be awarded for his/her performance during the Duels. These include, but are not limited to:
- Amount of cards that are commited to the field without protection.
- Timing and judgment
- A player will be scored highly if they can generate advantage, come back from disadvantage, or make a comeback win.


Bonus: (5 Points)
A player will also be awarded for his/her (positive) attitude. A total of 2 points can be added or reducted as Bonus Points for attitude:

-2 Points = Insulting the tester
-1 Point = Whiny behavior
0 Points = Neutral/minimal behavior
+1 Point = Standard “GL & HF” etc.
+2 Points = Good sportsmanship, respectful, overall good attitide

A player will also be awarded for switching decks between the two matches. 3 points can be added or reducted as Bonus Points.

+3 Points = Using different decks between the two matches.
-3 Points = Using the same deck for both matches.

Notes:

You will be assigned to *dorm name*.

Dorm Placement:
You will be put in if your score is 90 or higher.
You will be put in if your score is between 76 and 89.
You will be put in if your score is below 75.


You can ask for a test after 1 week of your Join Date and by paying 100 DP, or buy buying an Instant Test from the Main Shop for 300 DP.
You must have at least 2 posts on Chaos Era Academy before you can take a Test.

After 1 month of your initial test, you can take a retest by paying 100 DP.

After 1 month of your initial test, Testers might ask you to retake a test (free of charge)*. You have 2 weeks to prepare yourself from the date of notification. If after those 2 weeks no retest has been done, you will automatically go down 1 Dorm Rank.


*This will only be applied in cases where multiple testers feel a person might be unrightfully placed in a certain dorm.

Test Duels now consist of 2 Match Duels. Each Match Duel is worth up to 10 points.
Deck Construction is now worth up to 20 points for each Match Duel.

The point distribution for the Match Duels have been revised.

Waiting time for retests has been changed to 1 month!

Rules have been changed! Tests are no longer free-of-charge and instead these Rules must now be followed to become eligible for a Dorm Test:
