With Cosmo Blazer, we now have access to Lightning Plover, arguably one of the best Xyz Monsters in the game with its ability to +3 by itself against essentially any form of field presence. There are probably decks out there that try to spam him as fast as possible, but I haven't been paying attention to recent developments. I know the WIND Winged-Beast variant of Gladiator Beasts can play him to some success, but GBs in general are too clunky and slow for my playstyle. I'm currently trying to either make a Harpie-based deck or just a WIND Rabbit/Simorgh deck. Thoughts?

I think Rabbit is the best way to summon him thus far. I have been using a Harpie/Mist Valley variant with Rabbit and its working pretty well.

You could just use Heraldic Beasts to summon Plover. Alot of them are WIND and they have that card that can Xyz from your graveyard using Heraldics...
About the card, it's really cool and looks very good, esspecially that it can +2 the turn it's summoned, I just hope nothing will break it...

There is a high chance of the next pack introducing new wind support: I would just wait until then (otherwise I would probably mix it with gusto/harpie/or heraldic like ace said for now)
