Talk of Sangan being hit has gone on for a while. Generic searcher that increases consistency, not to mention Tour Guide's pet. With Sangan gone people will probably run Night Assailant with 2 Tour Guides.

Rai-oh is one of the best cards in the game and if you have seen some of the top decklists over the past few months you'd see that people maining 2 Raioh was a common sight. Hitting Raioh like this only hurts Agents because the good builds use 3.

This list is half-assed in my opinion.

Sangan was a searcher not only for rabbit but for a bunch of other monsters as well....veilers,maxx C's,agent earth,TGU,snowmans,cardcarD's,
honest...well the list goes on for anything you want up to 1500 ATK(wide variety of key cards). We all know Konami's good at hitting searchers.
So now you must actually draw some of the monsters sangan was searching for...plus it is irreplaceable in the deck.

Not the best banlist: all they did was hit Wind-Ups and the Tour Guide engine.

On one side, it'll be better for rougue decks, on the other... firefist/mermail/spellbooks... sighhh

Still completely against 3 Smoke Signals.
Six Sam's should not get a boost like that while Gateway is untouched according to this list.

Sangan at 0 is better, now everyone will not splash in the Tour Guide engine anymore. This is well received in my opinion.

Wind-Ups getting hit hard, good. Wind-Up Magician to 1 should've been where it was a format ago.

Not sure why Semi-Limit Rai-Oh due to Agents. I only run 2 in all my sides, but if hitting a card to cripple Agents, they should limited Earth again or limit Venus. Those cards provide Agent Users material for shenanigans, and not of the good kind.

Pretty pissed about Warning to 1, I mean... Seriously... WHAT THE F*CK!!?

Sams aren't a problematic deck in the meta, nor will they become more of a problem with this banlist.

I think that they also hit TKRO and Warning to promote future sets. As is tradition I suppose.

sounds a bit more balanced; though sams get a boost with the unlimiting of smoke signal. Not sure how I feel about kalut at 3; but with only 1 whirlwind, I'm sure I can get around it; credit to the d fissure ^.^ 3 lumina means my LRS deck will get beefier, that's dangerous, and 3 spore might actually make zombie plants more playable this format. what fun.

Shriek? Beware guys! It's the same guys who talked about Flashing Carat Dragon before, so some things may be missing.

This list is a little way better... but I still think some cards is missing and some shouldn't be here.

To me it doesn't make sense to limit Warning, yet have Spore at 3, Semi-Limit ARA, Lumina at 3, and triple Smoke Signal.

And then all the other OP decks are untouched -.-

So they killed 1 deck and sped the rest of the game up. Should be fun... (please take note of the sarcasm I dumped on that sentence).

If Dino/Macro Rabbit and Water are still dominant in the TCG meta, which I think they will be along with Fire Fists, Herald will have a hard time. Macro and resource wars are tough match-ups for Herald.

In the OCG, Verz Ophions presence pretty much ensures that they won't get far. At all.
