Slifer Red, the dorms of fresh rookies waiting for their chance to learn and escape to the next level, as well as the dormitory of aged, down on their luck duelists who couldn't take it to the next level. A public kitchen, foot lockers, and bunk beds make privacy and space a commodity. Sometimes duelists practice their latest techs on the well-worn floor of these rooms. Some imaginative soul even made a picture of a window and a happy sun, something you won't see for a long time underground. Slifer Red students can gather here, to rest or chat or play a quick game. Students of higher dorms tend to eschew touching this place in case they get red on them.

General Rules:

1: Stay in character. This thread is for in-character interactions between one player's character and another. If you wish to make an OOC statement, use ((these parenthesis. Anything said in here will be understood to be you and not Bunnychar.))

2: Don't roleplay other player's actions for them. It's okay to play a monster and attack someone. It's not okay to play a monster and attack someone, wiping out their lifepoints as they watch helplessly. Also, when describing yourself or talking, don't use lines like 'your character feels fearful of my red bloody eyes' or 'you can't help but feel attracted to me' as the character you're referring to might think red is cool or that you're ugly as sin.

3: Play nice. This is a silly forum rp on a silly yugioh forum. Just try to have fun!

4: Arbitration. Obviously once characters start interacting with each other, duels will break out, or other fights may happen. After some discussion with Sabbaticus, we will resolve these conficts in a neutral way that doesn't involve having to actually play out duels. There will be a 'Chaos dice' rolling option, similar to the Destiny Board. Each player simply rolls before the conflict is resolved, and then roleplays out the situation according to the result. If the players tie, then the duel or fight will end in a tie as well.

5: No Permenant Player Deaths. You cannot kill another player or cause someone to be unable to play their character. This is english Yugioh, everyone knows the deaths get censored. You can make wagers against other duelists, even play Shadow games, but no one will be Killed Off Forever.

6:One duel at a time. This is more for my sanity of trying to keep track of which attack is for which duel. One duel going on at a time per thread!


Remember that duels will be following Anime Rules (tm). If you run a stupid situational combo card, you will draw it exactly when you need it. You will always topdeck the card you want. Diamond Dude will always hit a spell. Witch of the Black Rose will always draw a monster. You will always get Hero Kid with Reinforce Truth, summoning 3 Hero Kids from your deck to sacrifice for Destiny Hero Plasma/Moisture Creature/whatever. And you will never draw a hand of 3 Hero Kids instead, unless you really feel like rping losing.

Leona walks into the Slifer Red dorm, appearantly the first to arrive.

So this is the Slifer Red dorm huh. A suiting place to start off! I have learned that the greatest warriors always start at the bottom.

Leona walks around a bit, trying to find a good spot. She is the first afterall, so she can take the best spot.

Hmm... I guess I'll just take the top bed near the painting.

As Leona unpacks her stuff, she thinks to herself: I'll just have to stay here until it gets night. Then I'll sneak into the Teacher's Office and get myself some extra knowledge about that girl! I just can't get her off my mind. Maybe I should watch her duel instead... Nah, I don't want to blow my cover. This will do just fine.

As Leona is getting comfortable in her new spot, she notices two guards enter the room with a stretcher, carrying a tall young man with blonde hair. One of them informs her, as they move him onto the lower bed under the portrait, "This is Calx. He's overexerted himself dueling. Don't worry about him." They leave a neatly folded Slifer Red uniform at the foot of his bed, ready for when he wakes.

Loyd go out of the building and look at the map. Aklys as a spirit monster appear near him, asking if he can found the way there.

-Don't worry, I know where I go... and no need to go at feet...

Loyd rise is arm and the eyes of the dragon head in his arm begin to glow and emit a mechanical sound. Suddenly, a motorcycle with no pilot appear and rush through Loyd! Aklys begin to scare, as the motorcycle stop so near of Loyd...

The motorcycle is red with black detail, the front is sharped like a dragon head and in the board, it possess a screen. Loyd go on the motorcycle, as Aklys begin to calm down... everytime, he get trapped by this.

Loyd look at the map... it seen not hard to found, and begin is way to the slifer dorm. That not take long before arriving at the slifer dorm, and when he go out of his motorcycle, he rise is arm again. The dragon head do the same thing, but this time, the motorcycle move alone and go far away. He enter in the dorm, and see there is already 2 peoples in there, and between them lye Carlx, who he was worried about. He feel alright... that's good.

Loyd seen quite shadowed when he entered...

Nyra finally made it to the dormitory, she was panting since she ran all the way to the dormitory. "Man that was farther than I expected it to be." She said.

Nyra pushed through the door and noticed that another girl was also in the room. The girl had red hair, armor, and a sword Nyra stared at her intently like she had seen her before. " That girl looks oddly familiar... Wait that's it!

Nyra rushed over to the girl and and placed her hands on her shoulders. "You look so much like Karin Koenig from Shadow Hearts Covenant ."

Aklys appear before Loyd, but when Nyra appear, he suddently become scared and hide on the back of Loyd. Loyd look at Nyra with a serious eyes.

''Aklys sens on her a bad aura... she might have fall into the darkness...''

Loyd continue to look at her...

Suddenly some rustling is heard through the room, followed by a "sup?" Calx has awakened.

Nyra got slightly embarrassed by her random outburst she always had a tendency to act on impulse sometimes. "Oh my.. I'm terribly sorry I didn't mean to freak you out... I... I.. " Nyra's cheeks turned to a faint red, flushed by her outburst. She rushed out of the room but accidentally ran into someone else. Nyra bounced back from her collusion with the stranger. "Oh my I'm terribly sorry I didn't mean to run...." Nyra lifted her head and saw who she bumped into. It was a boy with jet black hair with red highlights she could also see another boy that seemed like he was waking up on a Saturday morning. But what really caught Nyra's attention was this animal that seemed to be hiding behind his back. "Into you..."

Veritas looks at the rest of the dorm members from his bed and mutters, "It's getting crowded in here... don't bother me and I won't bother you'. He goes back to sleep.

Loyd become somewhat suprised...

''Aklys sens on her a bad aura... but I don't feel in her something bad...''

When she began to look at Aklys, Loyd discover she can see spirit monster. How? It isn't rare people who can see them? Maybe she is one of them...

Aklys rise his head from the shoulder of Loyd, with a cute look and again scared...

Veritas looks up surprised, and mutters to himself.

"Interesting... didn't notice that on his shoulder, seems like it's not just me and you eh Drago?"

A dragon with sky blue scales and blades for arms looks down at Regis from the ceiling.

"Well, stay away from sight, we don't want them finding out."

Veritas lies back down on his bed and tries to sleep.

Aklys begin to make a little roar when he suddenly look at Veritas. Loyd look at Aklys and say, with a very low voice.

-You talk with who?...

Loyd look at his direction and spot the blue dragon... Loyd know that dragon. He duelled someone once who used that monster.

''This place begin to be interesting... so that's why you send me here...''

He talk about that strange man he duelled before he convince him to go here, in this academy. There is much special person in this place, maybe someone have a link with his past. Even someone is strongest than him...

In his know past, only 2 duelists have beat him; His late friend, Aikun, who give him his Dragunity Deck before dying, and that strange turbo duelist... After them, he duelled many opponents, and no one success to beat him. This place might be the best way to become more stronger and, so, discover his past.

Right now, Nyra is his main subject. He says to her.

-Who are you?...

Calx sees everyone giving each other looks but notices it's sometimes not directly into everyone's eyes. *I guess I'm still tired.* He rolls over and closes his eyes again.

"Oh I'm Nyra Winchester, I came to this school from Florida." she replied. Her attention is then yet again fixed on the small dragon, she finds the small thing totally adorable. "I wonder if he knows that small creature is on his shoulder...?"

Nyra shakes her head " Focus Nyra! You are in the middle of a conversation you don't want to seem rude!"

"So tell me, who are you?"

Loyd look at Aklys a moment and look after Nyra.

-No need to hide yourself... you can see Aklys, aren't you?

Loyd know it... that was not hard, when we see her fixing Aklys like she never see a dragon...

-I'm Loyd Darkanen... Duelist from Neo Domino City... But there is only one way to know more each other than talking...

Loyd learn it from is late friend...

Flashback

Aikun and Loyd go to an orphelina to give some cards to childs. Loyd never understood why Aikun do this, but Aikun reply him:

-Being a good duelist is a things... but to be someone strong, you must show your friendship and your generosity to others.

-But why, Aikun?

Aikun show to Loyd the happy kids who play duel monsters.

-You see this?... That's the pleasure of dueling... You understand now?

Loyd began to understand... dueling is not for serious... it's for fun. But even after this, Loyd takes always duels a little serious, seen to not feel ''fun''.

-But you said me to be kind with good peoples... how do you know one of them are maybe bad?...

Aikun began to laught and say.

-You're right about this... but to know someone, there's much method. First, it's to look to that person. Second, the number of time you was with him... but the best way to learn about someone is...

End Flashback

Loyd close his eyes a moment, and he suddently take the object in his back, revealing to be a blade. He put it on his arm and it become a Duel Disk.

-Duel me...

Nyra was dazzed by what just happened first there was idle chit chat, then he tells her that he can also see that dragon creature on his shoulder, and.... he just pulls a duel disk and challenges her to a duel off the bat. It was more than what Nyra could handle, at this point. "Wait.... What?!"

Nyra seen to be stunned by the sudden provocation.

-Calm down, it's not a serious duel or something... my way to see it's to know more about someone, the best way is to duel each other... Lest just duel for fun...

Loyd has never really tried to duel for fun... he do it some time with his late friend but... why not try what he learn from his friend...

"Oh... Alright then." Nyra reactivate her duel disk which was still on her arm. Though Nyra was slightly nervous whenever she dueled Arya would take over and there was no stopping her when she did.

Loyd go outside (with Nyra, I believe), and take position.

-Show me your strenght...

Nyra could feel it.. Arya was coming out... And she wasn't able to restrain her for long before she would come out. "For... forgive me for this...." Nyra's eye's were sad as shes spoke those words and suddenly she flung off her dress which made her out of sight for a second and when she was back in sight she was different. Her hair was black, the dress she was wearing was again that black dress, her black gloves made another reappearance, and her eyes... they were as cold as the night.... Arya has returned.

Loyd look at her... not suprised. Like he know that will happen...

-Who are you?... And why you live inside Nyra?...

Arya looks at Loyd with a semi curious yet displeased look. "Hmph, arrogant human would it kill you to say please? But if you must know... I am Nyra's negative emotions that she pushed in the farthest corner of her mind, the poor girl did it for so long that I was formed, her counterpart in every way shape and form... I am Arya!"
