Not far from the beach is a port. It sticks out of the side of the island like a thorn that pierced human skin. The sides of the port are covered in various seaweeds, barnacles, and mussels where the water would touch the sides when it’s high tide. The waves that crash along the poles are weak and only give a soft peaceful hum when they crash. During low tide the smell can be like a punch in the gut since the smell can be just so strong. You can possibly see young lobsters and crabs scurrying around during low tide.

As a broken mangled raft pulls up into the docks, a young man with a hood covering his face steps the raft and onto the docks. Izard is finally at the academy and ready to duel. He heads of to the Obelisk dorm in search of his first opponent.

As Atticus finds his way onto the island , he looks at his 3 ace cards with an evil grin and then adds them back to his deck , he notices a broken raft on the shore and then he sees a young man running and decides to follow him to the "so called Academy" and find out about what is happening.

"Finally here, the air on this part of the docks is really refreshing" were Lex's first thoughts when he arrived there. *Lex takes a look at the wide sea, the beautiful blue sky and the white clouds* "This is so relaxing".

From wandering around the academy, Sirius finds himself by docks, gazing at the sea, reminding him of his past, and the secrets he has kept inside him till this very day. He also notices a few other duelists around the docks, 2 of which look like they just arrived. Sirius looks on and sees another student just inhaling in the air of the salty sea.

''Looks like I'm not the only one who is fond of the deep depths of the ocean...'' Sirius says to himself and he decides to take a seat by the cliff side.

A very high shrill is heard from the intercom horn that was setup near the area. The Head Mistress's voice is heard.

"All students report to the Auditorium for an emergency announcement."

Sirius hears the announcement from the Head Mistress and gets up casually to make his way to the auditorium.

''Hmm...''

Sky heads foir the Jetty, pulling off her boots she dangles her feet in the Sea and lets the cool sea breeze clear her head.

She pulls a book from her bag and kicks the water as she reads.

Sirius returns to the docks after the Head Mistresses speech in the auditorium.

''I wonder if I'll encounter any of these strange duelists...'' Sirius says to himself as he looks out to the sea.

"I don't view myself as strange" Sky replies splashing the water, "could be your lucky day you won't always find mermaids by the sea," She beams a big smile then returns to her book.

Sirius looks at the unfamiliar girl by the sea, bewildered by her sudden voice.

''Mermaids huh? You sure you aren't one of the strange duelists that have been sneaking up on duelists when they find themselves alone?'' Sirius replies.

Sirius is still calm as ever, not feeling threatened but at the same time not dropping his guard.

Sky giggles "I think whatevers going on won't be intrested in a Slifer "

"I guess your new too ? I think its a load of bull myself to keep us in our dorms."

"My names Sky I came here to feel the wind on my face it clears my head. Who are you ?"

''The names Sirius, and I guess I'll take your word for it... But introductions with words are for normal people, for duelists like ourselves, we get to know each other through our decks as they represent us... So how about a duel....? Sky...''

Sirius pulls out his deck and holds in front of him.

"hmm I think you have me at a disadvantage !" She stands to her full height 4' 9". "I kind of got no shoes " She pulls from her pack an odd pink and gold duel disk and slots in her deck. The wind from the sea seems to increase a notch making the locks of her Jet black hair and the pleats of her skirt dance.

"Ready when are Sirius !"

Sirius face palms when he see's that Sky has no shoes and her duel disk...

''Lets Duel!'' He says confidently!

''Well, looks like that duel helped me get to know you, I guess you aren't involved in the strange things happening here after all... You prefer to ride the winds...'' Sirius says as he puts his deck away.

''Guess I'll be seeing you around...''

Folding up the disk and removing her deck Sky winks at Sirius.

"next time I'll be ready thanks for the duel."

''You too...'' Sirius says with a feint smile as he turns around and heads back towards the Academy.

Sky Sits and puts her boots back on picking up her pack she heads back towards her room.

Vlad has arrived at the dock and now he stand firmly looking straight to the seemingly border-less ocean.

"People keep saying that we should follow where the wind blows, i don't mind i f i have to follow this nice wind. Hmph...nobody to duel, that means i have to follow the wind again."

Trying his best to avoid the fact that he's lost, Vlad's wander, looking for infirmary of Duel Academy.

Instead of heading towards the Obelisk dorm, Marth ended up on the docks. There weren't many ships, it almost seemed as if the bay had not been used in quite some time. There were two sloops that danced around with the calm waters. Marth wondered who the owners of those vessels are as he walked by them while having a smooth tailwind. The sun felt nice, as he stretched his arms and then put his hands behind his head. The endless ocean reflected the sun's rays into Marth's eyes, as he could sometimes spot a ship moving past the island.

Though the docks seemed abandoned at first glance, it wasn't completely. Marth noticed a figure not very far away from him, but he didn't recognize this person. Sort of careful yet very calm, he headed for whoever it may be. As he got closer, the figure turned out to be a male who seemed to be in the Slifer dorm. Marth, who hadn't had the pleasure to meet most of the students yet, hoped to grab the attention of this young man as he approached him. Marth was glad it wasn't one of those weird duelists who attack students and make them disappear, though he cannot be too careful. It might be one in disguise after all. With his naturally composed expression, he said: "I believe we haven't met. I'm Marth." While saying this, he offered to shake this person's hand.

It took 10 seconds for Vlad to realize that an obelisk students greet him.
Accepting Marth's handshake, Vlad replied his greeting as cool as he could.

"Oh, hi Marth. You might call me Vlad, and by the way, I'm not lost, i just tried to figure out where is our infirmary in this map. It seems the map is screwed.....look."

Holding out the map to Marth, Vlad take a quick glance on this new friend of his.

(he seems completely unarmed, no mask, no cape, check clear.)

resuming his argument, Vlad point out the spot where he thought the infirmary is supposed to be.

"See? it supposed to be here isn't it? No wonder the students got disappeared, they might get confused by this map. hahaha."

A laugh with stiffed face, brought out solely to hide the fact that he's lost.

"You're right, that is strange... But if you know that the infirmary is supposed to be there, it wouldn't hurt to take a look, right?" was Marth's answer, as he scanned over the map as he had not taken a look at his own yet. He didn't find the joke very funny as the whole situation was quite serious, though he guessed that not everyone thought like that. Vlad seemed to find it kind of funny, though it sounded more like a fake laugh than a real one. Marth paid no attention to it as he resumed the conversation: "Speaking of which, do you know more about the disappearances? I haven't really heard much about it other than what the principal told us. Supposedly someone had been attacked."

Leo watches the duel from afar, with a grin on his face.

"Like I thought, there are some interesting ones here. Maybe it's time for me to leave my mark on this game."

Leo approaches Sirius, attaching his deck to his duel disk.

"Fortunately, i'm the one attacked. U could ask anything u want, though i doubt i can explain much, since i myself is about to ask the ra student that used by those shady guy. He should be in infirmary by now, that's the reason i'm looking for it."
